Hi

Problem I have is that SG keeps slipping off when tension is increased ( don't know if it matters, but I'm circumsized )

Anyways, there are plenty of methods to prevent SG from slipping off, but most commonly used and/or effective seems to involve ACE bandage and velcro strap.

btw - sorry for so many questions

a) Since English isn't my first language, I'm a little confused by the term Velcro strap and thus would need more detailed description of what exactly it is ( in the context of SG, since after googling the term it seems Velcro straps come in many different shapes and sizes ) in order to know what to look for in a store.

b) I'd also appreciate if someone could provide a link to online store in Europe ( it takes way too long for the packet to arrive from America, unless you pay extra ) where one could order an appropriate Velcro strap?

c) I'm assuming ACE bandage is just your regular elastic bandage commonly used to be wrapped around injured areas? As such, would any elastic bandage be suitable or are some bandages more suitable for use with SG?

d) If some elastic bandages are better for SG than others, could again someone also provide me with a link to an online store in europe, where I can buy most suitable one?

e) Are there any other items needed with this method ( such as cotton or whatever for padding )

f) And finally, can someone link me to a video on how to wrap this correctly?

Thank you

Velcro can be bought at most hardware stores or if you are looking online try a company called 3M. For wrapping i just use cotton medical gauze as it is slightly stretchy and also soft on the skin, you can buy it in a roll from any chemist for a dollar or two. The best thing I've found to use for preventing slippage is self adhesive sports wrap made by 3M also, because it's grippy/sticky, it won't matter whether you are using velcro/rubber strap or a noose that stuff will hold steady against it.

I use electrical tape around the rubber straps (covering the grooves). You'll have to replace the tape after several uses but it's a cheap way to increase the useful life of a strap.

Hopefully, this brother has sorted out the problem

Great response! Exactly what I would have suggested with the velcro mod. There is also the VLC to be considered as a good attachment.

Thank you

You really should try the method I use which I had learned from J1L. The cloth wrapping method. It's a 2" wide strip of cloth about 18" in length. I use it in conjunction with the Comfort Strap. There is no slippage. None, none, none.

I think you should she me the post made by J1L instead because I cannot open the attachment on your progress log.

I apologize but I really do not have time to search for it. But all is not lost. Try to make the wrap as indicated above. You should not have any problems. It is very straightforward.

If you can give me a partial name of the thread I can find it.

I've made a good wrap for myself.

First, I put the foam that came with the SG right under my glans then I wrap it with two layers of ace bandage and then I wrap the ace bandage with two layers of silicone sleeve and then I wrap the silicone sleeve with two layers of a thick towel. With this setup, all form of slippage is being defeated. I wear my SG at a very high tension with no slippage at all.

this is the biggest problem I also face burning of frenulum if during wrapping loose skin remains. This is due to uncut.

I don't get the burning sensation anymore but I lose blood circulation after 30 minutes. And my tension is extremely higher than recommended.

If someone still can't find a comfortable way to attach in the SizeGenetics the best move is to pick up the VLC, this makes it comfortable and easy for everyone that tries it.
