Alright I've doing a basic stretching/jelqing routine for about 3 weeks. I've only taken about 2 days off total due to soreness in what I believe to be my ligs.

The past 3 sessions however I've noticed that during stretching I'm getting a sharp pain in the left side of my shaft while stretching. It's most prominent when I'm doing a straight out stretch combined with a kegel hold for 10 seconds. (Correct me if I'm wrong a kegel is tensing the PC muscle?).

I normally just feel a tightness in my ligs during these exercises but this is a sharp pain only on the left side of my shaft. What could this be? Should I continue my routine but decrease the intensity if I'm getting pain?

The noticeable benefits I've seen so far are increased vascularity in my penis and possibly harder more frequent erections, along with a slightly larger more spongy flaccid penis.

Continue to stretch and work on it, this is a good sign of fatigue and you must take the advantage to target that sucker now! These ligaments are STUBBORN and so now its like a grumpy old dog kicking its feet in but its tired, so yank the lead and get him home :) Perhaps increase your intensity, use more force with the stretch and try to isolate the ligament on that side with something like V-SES stretches, DLD blasters or Blue_Whale mother of all ligament stretches.

sharp pain is not tissue fatigue

Agreed.

If it is more like an ache than a pain then i would take that as fatigue and carry on to push through it.

If it is actual pain then perhaps take 2 days off as it could be a symptom of over training.

To prevent a reoccurance you could perhaps adopt a 6 on, 1 off routine.

Try doing your usual stretches and execute a reverse kegel while stretching further. Note the feeling at this stage, do you feel a burning in the area (Particularly the left side?).
