Hi Champs

My name is Cat and I am a PE newbie
Ive been pe`ing for about 3 weeks now - only jelqs between 100 and 200 a day. Worked really well for me.

In the first few days I could feel the skin/tissue at the base of the penis becoming adapted to jelqing. Everything was fine. However, around this time last wee the skin found at the base of the penis started to get sore, red and sensitive etc etc thus limiting my pe efforts. What i`ve done so far is to take a day or two off from pe and it works great. But when I start pe`ing again after a jelq session ( approx 100 jelqs) the skin in that area gets sore again.

So far, I`ve been using olive oil and hemp oil. Hemp oil feels better than the olive one.

Should I start using a different oil? Should I limit the amount of jelqs (i`ve been doing between 100 and 200 a day so far with good results)? Take more days off now?

Any suggestions?

Thanks champs!

No need to stop for more than a day. The problem is just your skin is just new to this type of work. It essentially has to stretch and toughen up at the same time. Make sure you shave or trim your hair very short. If you do that already, then move onto a new jelqing medium, lube, massage oils, Vaseline. They can get messy but do better at reducing the friction that you are causing, that's the big problem. Try to put Vaseline at the base where the trouble area is and then proceed to use your oil. The Vaseline will help in that area while you can still jelq. Make sure you clean up thoroughly and put some ointment or creams on to help with healing, cortisone or lotions. File that and you'll heal and feel better real soon.

Thanks for your quick and detailed reply.

By reading your reply, I realized that I ought to trim my hair even better. I will look for a better jelquing medium as well.

Bless you.

Quick question: I did not realize that I should warm up the penis prior to the jelquing session using warm water and a cloth. Do you recon that warming up the penis (via dipping a piece of cloth into warm water and then wrapping the penis with the said cloth for a few minutes) might help with this soreness issue moving forward?

Best,
Cat.

Yes, but the cloth will get cold very quickly, best to use shower/bath or at least cup full of hot water.

Hey BigBeardBig

Thanks for your advice. You are correct. I just tried the cloth method and the shower and the shower is way better.

Thanks champs. Greatly appreciated.

Good luck with your journeys. I will pop in more often to update my journey.

Best,
Cat.

I've seen that, just never thought to try it. I just get ashy as hell every winter. I use Dial for men, it stays moist for a while. I use it to edge. It works great for my skin. I get dry skin but it never hurts me. I've tried everything on my skin. Just have to toughen it up with progress in your routine. I take a shower when I get home and use that as my warm up.

Hydrocortisone is the best possible thing you can use on the penis for healthy skin, reduce itchiness, redness, irritation, etc.

Thanks champs!

I am really humbled by your replies and willingness to help. Everything is fine now. I think the problem lied in the fact that I did not trim/shave that day because as soon as I shaved I stopped getting this issue.

Now I have another question. I got a "black spot" again on my shaft again. By "black spot" I mean - I jelqued quite a lot ( i know I should not since I am a beginner) and a blood vessel burst under the skin. I had this happening last year when I dabbled in PE. I stopped jelquing for the past 2 days and it still has not been absorbed into the body fully. It`s probably a tenth of an inch in diameter and blood red in color. It`s basically blood from a small blood vessel that burst during my last jelqing session.

I feel no discomfort at all. My penis still works / functions normally. However, I don`t know what to do with regards to pe and jelqing. Should I wait until this goes away? Or can I still do PE in the meantime?

What would u guy recommend? Any suggestions DLD?

Thanks champs and God bless you all.

Best,
Cat.

Hey Cat! This is a simple bruise. I would suspend girth work until the bruise yellows at which point you can start girth work again. In the meantime flaccid work is fine. To help the bruise go quicker use heat and deep tissue massage. DO NOT work through a bruise, it will become permeant if you do.

I had this problem a bit, use a good oil and cut down the frequency if you need to. Not for long but give it chance to subside rather than constantly irritate it with friction.
