Hi guys,

I recently lost loads of fat. Intermittent fasting had the most powerful impact.
I gained 1/2 inch NBPenis EnlargementL.

Anyways just thought I'd mention it. I thought it might help some people.

What type of IF did you use? I tried leangains but I found the hunger in the mornings very hard to deal with. Plus I found the meals that I had on rest days (the ones with high fat) a bit hard to stick to, I love my carbs (probably the reason why I'm fat). Could you post what your cals and macros were and what kind of meals you would eat plus any tips to sticking to the diet.

I really need to get on and stay on a diet.

You can still eat carbs on if. Just keep your 8 hour window. I eat 300grams protein 100 carbs 50 fat 6 days a week and let loose on Saturday but keep it in 8 hours
 
What kind of diet did you actually follow? I mean- was it something similar to the Renegade Diet? I've been reading some stuff on IF (intermittment fasting), but most people state that after a certain point of fasting- muscle catabolism occurs to give the body the nutrients it needs. It is no secret that the more fat you have on your body- the easier it is to take some of it off (depends on your body type though), so I think that helped you a lot. Nice to hear that it worked for you, can you write how you consumed your nutrients/how many calories (if you have calculated how many you actually need etc. :)
 
Catabolism won't occur for more than 36 hours. I believe the idea of eating every 3 hours was created supplement companies. 99% of people aren't going to be able to eat 5 whole food meals so this would make you dependent on shakes made by supplement companies

Well I think the idea of eatin every 3 hours or so is so popularized, because if you eat 2-3 meals a day that would mean that every meal that you consume would contain 40-50% of your total daily carbohydrate intake. If your goal is fat loss and let's say that (calculated BathmateR x sport activity level factor) you should consume around 3000 calories a day- (and since it is good to drop your carbohydrates to around 40% (and sometimes less- depends on your activity though), that would mean that 1200 of your calories would come from carbohydrates. Eating 2 meals a day would mean that you consume around 600 calories of carbohydrates a meal. Which would lead to a huge rise in your insulin levels to move all that excess blood sugar to your muslce,liver or store it as body fat. Having that much carb intake at one meal would most probably lead to huge storage as body fat instead of glycogen contained in muscle. Once your glycogen levels are full and your liver is full as well, all the rest would be stored as body fat (which is not what one wants when he is on a body fat losing diet). :)
 
I eat 4 meals in 8 hours not 2 meals. I eat all my carbs for the day in my first meal which is post workout when I want to spike insulin, usually50 grams. The other 3 meals are no carb. It's ridiculous you would think someone trying to lose fat should eat 300 grams of carbs. That's about what I eat if I was bulking, certainly way too much to cut fat

Well it really depends on the size of the guy. I mean for a huge guy that requirest 3,000 cals a day 20-40% would still be considered a lot of carb :). Don't you eat some carbs pre-workout? As much as I know fat is what your body uses as energy and carbs are what you brain uses only. This is why low carb diets make people feel like shit LMAO.

By the way- did you take the idea of IF (intermittment fasting) from some read. Professional fitness coach is what I study for and I would be happy if you recommend some reads on the topic :)
 
I'm 6'1 210 lbs 10% fat. I will get down to 7% end of next month. I workout fasted, just 10 grams of bcaas pre workout. For fat loss it's more effective to workout fasted. Also great to raise natural igf 1 levels. Mine is over 200

Martin Berkhan is the guy who came designed the LeanGains diet, his website is: http://www.leangains.com/

It's essentially 16 hours of fasting and 8 hours of eating. On workout days you eat more calories that on rest days. Workout days your carb:fat ratio is 3:1 and on rest days it is 1:3. You eat 3 meals a day. I think (i could be wrong) that on rest days the calories are 33% of you total calories for the day (say you are eating 3000 cals for the day, then each meal is 1000 cals). On workout days it is 20% for pre workout meal 60 % post workout and 20% for your last meal of the day.

I tried this eating plan around a year ago but I gave up and tried a different diet as I wasn't losing weight fast enough. Looking back, I should have stuck to it.

I'm going to start back at it as well as getting on the Starting Strength routine, once Christmas is over.
 
You are what you eat guys. Its recommended to eat about 6 meals a day. look at a baby and when he eats should be about 6 meals as I got a baby boy unless if hes sick. It's good to fast every so often too of course. Don't forget to check out "juicing". It is where people take fruits and vegies and blends then drinks them. The reason why this works is because it gives the body the minerals and vitamins it needs. When the body gets the vitamins and minerals it NEEDS then you will not feel hungry. .Also good to get exercise 5-7 days a week at least 30 minutes per workout.I hope this helps

Laziness is what has been stopping me from combining body exercise with PE. I need to pick myself up and work on my body. If I can grow my penis, I should be able to develop any part of my body with the same principle.
