Hi, this question is targeted for those who are somewhat fit, practice sports often and such, but still have some good amount of pubic fat pad no matter what. Although anyone can feel free to answer, of course.

i've been weightlifting, running, swimming, rope-jumping and doing some other forms of cardio pretty much consistently for about 4 years, although i always managed to stay in good shape since a teenager. I was never fat, nor skinny, just a little athletic frame (but nothing impressive).
I'm roughly 5" 8' tall, and a month ago i was barely 160 pounds, but since some months ago i started to get pretty serious with low-carb dieting and increasing the amount of cardio i usually do, and guess what, in a month i've lost abount 5 pounds. My upper abs are starting to show up a little.
My body fat percentage, according to some online calculators would be around 15% give or take, and my pubic fat pad is (and was) about 0.8 inches. It has not changed by a hair, and it's not that i'm surpirsed of that, i know that i have yet much more workout to do.

But that was precisely what i was wondering these days: given my phyisical frame, and based on your own personal experiencies,

¿What level of body fat would you guesstimate i had to reach to see some loss of fat pad?

¿Is it attainable to lose let's say about 1/4 of an inch pubic fat, being at 0.8 as i am right now?

Well, those are my thoughts, people, feel free to share your opinions!
Bye!

I went from 16% to about 11%, lowest I hit was 10%. I attribute the fat loss to when I started eating right (way more vegetables) and first started powerlifting and learning all the compound movements.

Matcha too. I drink a lot of Matcha and it's supposed to boost your metabolism significantly it seems.

Interesting. And did you notice some reduction in your fat pad when you dropped to 10-11%?

Yes, most visible was going from 16% to 11%-a drop in 5% and you get a significant reduction in fat pad/FUPA and the ingunial crease is really defined and it even "enhances" the sight of the nether regions...so I've been told a a handful of times.

I have twice now, once back in 2005 and again now. For me the fat pad always reduced relative to my weight loss. In 2005 I had a less than .25" fat pad at 145 pounds (I am 5' 9"). Today I have a 1" fat pad at 180 pounds. I would like to reduce further but back in 05 I looked like a skeleton. I am hoping my goal weight (170) gets me to the .5" mark, which I can live with. How I did it was extreme dieting, lots of exercise, lots of water, reduce most of the sodium, sugars and fats.

According to Wiki:

If you're exercising more on one day, you may need to eat more to fuel that workout. As a rule of thumb, you never want to exceed a deficit (or eat less than) 1000 calories lower than the amount of calories you burn. The absolute minimum calorie intake should be 1200 for women and 1500 for men.

Yes, that is more or less what i do, but i don't think i have to worry on calorie intake, as i eat like a T. Rex throughout the day hahaha. I just try to eat a lot of proteins, vitamins, a reasonable amount of slow-burning carbs, drink lots of water and of course, reduce sugars and fats at a minimum. No supplements, all natural food and plain dieting.

By the way, just curious, if it's not much to ask... how old are you, DLD?
In the 2nd of June i'll be 30yo.

I think most healthy people have at least a little bit of a fat pad.

Of course, absolutely agree, it's impossible to have close to ZERO fat pad, there's gotta be some meat there lol

But i was talking about if it's a reasonable goal to reduce some 0.8 inch fat pad to maybe 0.6 or 0.5 inch. That's just a loss of ~0.5 cm., but still, you have to take into account how much 0.5 cm can help to your dick length. Let's say that for a couple months you commit very hard to cardio and diet, and reduce 0.25 inches of fat pad, and in the meantime you gain another 0.25 inch through PE itself. Then voilà! you gained 1/2 inch in a relatively short period of time.

Plus, aesthetically speaking, i think that some well defined abs and especially a prominent iliac crest can sort of highlight your package, moreso if it's well trimmed.

One thing I have also noticed watching is that some guys seem to have their penis and balls 'mounted' further out than the fat pad....meaning if they measured their NBPEL on top and the length from balls to tip on the bottom, then their NBPEL would actually be the longer of the two measurements. Almost like their balls are mounted 'on front' vs 'down below'...if that makes any sense.

Yup, two very good example are Chris Stroke (s)? and __________. Now, if you read the original Expressive Stretching thread it was based on this exact premiss. Original Expressive Stretching Thread.

By the way other forum, you can see that I invented this exercise 7 years ago! Stop biting my shit or I will cause havoc in your forum!

they probably had lig cut or just hang really heavy

Nah, it is more of a physical difference. The actual pubic bone exceeds the fat pad bringing everything outward. We can't change the position of the pubic bone but we can express more inner penis through Expressive Stretching and sort of mimic this look.
