I've lost about 2 lbs of fat in the last 3 days. I've switched my diet bigtime from what it was. Here it is:
Breakfast: load up on whole fruit and fresh fruit juice, eat until you're full. This digests very easily, so it immediately goes to work supplying your body with energy. But also since it digests quickly, you get hungry sooner. Snack on some fruit as you get hungry until lunch time.
Lunch: can be any animal source protein (fish, chicken, eggs, liver, etc) and also some sort of vegetable (right now it's raw spinach for me), or like today I had a protein shake which you can make with milk, 2 or 3 eggs, and a teaspoon of raw honey. Add some berries or bananas or other fruit if you like, put it in a blender, and drink. It's really good, even without the fruit!
If you get hungry before dinner, eat some fruit!
Dinner: larger version of lunch. Tonight I had a big fresh salmon filet, raw spinach, wholegrain bread (ezekiel bread), and water. Later tonight I'll have some more fruit, and maybe another of those protein shakes. Before bedtime is vegetable juice.
The diet stresses the importance of not eating processed foods at all! Only if you have no other choice! Of course, things like milk are hard to find raw, and in most states it's illegal to sell in stores, so that can slide. Whole organic fruit is expensive in the supermarket, but luckily for me there's a fresh produce market downtown every Friday and the fruit is really cheap, (like $1 for 8 oranges, etc). Most places you can find something similar nearby.
These are the supplements recommended by the diet. Cod liver oil once per day, Calcium Magnesium supp with each meal, plenty of Vit C if you don't eat much citrus, Vit E, and dessicated liver tablets.
Also, part of the program is running 3 times a week, working up to 5-6 times and 45 min to an hour each time, with a long 90 minute run every once and a while. And also 3 times per week you workout HARD. Bodyweight, barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, whatever you do, but push yourself hard. Dips and chinups are highly recommended (with a weight belt later on), and also ab work, grip work, and neck training. Good stuff! I'm sore as crap! :D
But I feel GREAT! Even after only 3 days! This majority fruit diet is amazing! I remember a few years ago when my dad (a doctor) had the chance to meet and hang out with Tony Robbins, he said that he was in the best health, and had the most energy of anyone he had ever met. Tony Robbins said the reason was because most of his diet consisted of fruit and fruit juice.
I'm not going to say the name of the program I'm on because I don't want people to think I'm spamming, but if anyone's interested send me a PM or talk to me on AIM and I'll tell you about it.
