Hi, im looking for a bit of help on raising my energy levels. I'll start by a description of me as i am now. I'm 20yrs old, 5'11", 75kg, so not overweight, i do minimal exercise any day, no sports or gym, i do lots of walking though.
I sleep about 10-12 hours every night and if i get any less than that i feel luggish for the whole day. My sleep patern is about 2am-12pm or there abouts. I can be a bit of an insomniac, but definatly nowhere near clinical.
I eat usually 2 meals a day, lunch about 30mins after i wake up, and tea about 6-7, meals are pretty basic, pie for lunch, meat and veg for tea, that sorta thing. I drink a lot, i got out binge drinking at least once a week, usually about 3 times a week. I don't smoke or do any drugs.
I do medatation and have just started Yoga.
The Problem:
I just want higher energy levels, some days after a good sleep or just for some reason im really energetic and wide awake, but most days im a bit tired all through the day. I had sex the other day and lasted about an hour before i was stuffed, and i know i have lasted longer and my erections can be better.
So my question is simply how can i raise energy levels, are there really good foods that are great natural energy boosts? what else could i try?
