Hey all! Okay, here's what I'd like to start, if I may be so bold: As the old saying goes, it's not the size of the boat, but the motion of the ocean. Or something along those lines. Now everyone here is talking about how to make their tug boat an ocean liner, but I haven't heard much about how to improve the other aspects. So I'd like to hear, from the more expirenced members (more expirenced than me, that is) what work out routines or exercises you do that you've found improve your sex life. Now when I say exercises I don't mean like a bundled a-stretch or 1x10^21 kegals a day, I mean like crunches and butterfly presses, stuff like that. I'll start off, and you can continue it:

I personally love pilates. Pilates, I've found, works the entire core, the legs and a bit of the chest. If you incorporate wrist weights you also work the shoulders (Very necessary, unfortunatally, for missionary position.) Plus, since I have an inherently bad back, it does wonders for posture, which every woman likes.

Funny that you mention this, there are a few articles going on at menshealth website about this exactly, better sex. They have many diagrams and such... its pretty sweet.
 
Yeah. Those articles are actually what inspired me to start this thread, 'cause as I figure it there's just not enough info out there about stuff like this. Besides that, while I love Men's Health, they don't exactly do a through job of giving sex advice.
 
very true, that is why you have MOS. :) Other than menshealth article though, I don't think we've discussed any of this yet. I don't think it really plays a huge part in sex, I do think the PC muscle plays a bigger factor as well physiological well being... Other than that..I'd say first and foremost would be your abs and gluts... anyone else chime in on this?
 
From my experience, i think that a solid core and legs are very important along with a good cardiovascular capacity. Although these are the primary muscles used during sex, there are alot of other minor muscles used like the muscles in your jaw and finger/forearms, and shoulders.
 
That brings up a good question, a bit of a sub-topic, really: How does one exercise the tongue?
 
I think just generally being in better shape makes sex better. of/c having a stronger pc muscle helps, as well as the core. i've found that when i get tired out while having sex, my erection suffers. so having better overall stamina works better. having stronger shoulders helped things, even a stronger chest...but that applied mainly to a few select positions though. LMAO
 
If I aint fucking on a bed and somewhere slightly harder I got sore knees, sore hands, sore forearms, sore shoulders etc LOL

Can you guys post a link to this mens health article? I'd like to see it.
 
Alright, I'll go out on a limb and say that this thread went and died? Alright, well if anyone has any parting thoughts feel free to throw them in.
 
Obvious ones would be to workout your tongue, legs, abs, and cardiovascular capacity.

Tongue for some solid eating action. Just move it around, stick it in and out of your mouth, side to side, add some resistance with a finger, be creative. Flick it around fast in front of your mouth and you should get tired pretty fast. Work on that.

Legs for some positions need to be strong, or can get sore. Squats, any leg exercises.

Abs for thrusting, or some positions they are just crucial. For example if she's on top, no back rest, and you want to kind of get up a bit, abs play a role.

Cardio capacity, so you can move around for a long time without being really short of breath or just getting too damn tired.

I would say basically just start to workout your entire body, lift some weights and do some cardio. And simply add along some tongue exercises and you should be golden.
