For my first post let me just say I believe homage is due to the man DLD. Thanks for starting and maintaining this site... you deserve a giant schlong! rofl

Ok so does anybody have any links to sites or threads that state the theories and mechanics behind Penis Enlargement? I have a genereal idea about whats goin on Im just looking for somethin more definite.

Well, it would work better if you gave us your ideas and theories first and then we can back them up/substantiate them or shoot em down.

Girth is basically no more than forcing more blood than usual into the chambers, therefor causing cellular growth and size over time.

Length is more of stretching the ligaments and all that that hold the penis to the body I guess.

I dunno I'm not a Penis Enlargement guru like some of the guys.

I always wanted to know how like the nerves, veins, arteris, etc. get longer.

I can understand skin and ligs stretching but what about the above?

There is allot that goes into why and how Penis Enlargement works. But I will try to keep it simple. Length comes from two main sources 1.) Lig Stretching, when the suspensory ligament (Band of tissue that holds the penis up against the pubic bone.) are stretched within the body allowing the penis to become longer as more length is added to the stretched ligament. Some call this internal penis.

and 2.) Stretching the external penis or Tunica. The tunica is a inflexible tube that surrounds the three spongy chambers. During an erection the tunica becomes tight and restrictive giving the penis rigidity. Tunica stretching or enlargement is a very slow, arduous process as it contains less than 5% elasticity. When we stretch at higher angles, that put little pressure on the ligaments, most of the intensity of the stretch is absorbed by the tunica. The tunica some see as an endless source of length gains.

Girth enlargement happens when the corpus cavenosum, the two chambers on either side of the penis that holds blood in it's spongy tissue during erection, are filled with blood beyond there capacity. It is important to understand that this tissue is housed in the tunica so the same slow, arduous, rules apply. Girth will be temporary swelling until all of the tissue affected deforms permanently to hold the increased blood during an erection.

I have always tried to be forbearing with girth work. I keep things uncomplicated and intense. My only goal, when training girth, is MAXIMUM EXPANSION. What I try to do is to get temporary swelling beyond my normal erection circumference each and every workout. Eventually, as it has happened for the past 4 years, temporary...slowly but surely becomes permanent.

In flaccid length exercise it is difficult to over train the penis. This is due to the extremely small amount of muscle present in the penis. With this in mind I see length exercise as the more the better. I do a extremely wide array of length exercises being sure to spend time on both the ligaments and tunica.

Thanks DLD thats exactly what I wanted to know. This forum is great, I've learned so much since this post its ridiculous! That reminds me, is the LOT theory a generally excepted one?

vlad- Penis Enlargement doesn't give you new veins. It can make small tiny veins (that used to be virtually invisible) grow larger become thicker and more pronounced.

Wich in my opinion is the only downside of Penis Enlargement.

Remember : Arteries = Blood inflow (Arteries = invisible, deep within each of the penis chambers)
Veins = Blood outflow. Veins = Visible

Every single visible vein on your dick is an enemy because it constantly drains blood from your penis. (There is a deep dorsal vein too)

There is nothing to worry about (if you have big bulging veins) as long as there is nothing wrong with your arteries (and or blood(in)flow to the penis) .

The shit really hits the fan , when this perefect balance of blood inflow ->bloodoutflow is somehow disturbed by damaged veins : such as thrombosed veins , venous leakage (thats when you damage the vein valves and they can't close no longer = permanent damage)
All of this shit leads to partial erectyle dysfunction. No more rigid hard erection no staying power and so on.

Some people are born with a condition where they are perefectly healthy but simply have to many veins on their dick = too much drainage. There is still hope for them. There is a surgery called "penis vein ligation surgery" where they simply reduce the amount of veins by cutting them and thus reduce the bloodoutflow.
There is also "penis revascularization surgery". Both surgery methods are rarely successfull and only help out a small group of people. Most get the same problems again after a year or 2. Its important to cut enough veins to ensure a good result not more and not less.

My own opinion is : the more veins on a dick the uglier it looks. I find it very unattractive to see bulging blue and velvet veins snaking along a dick. Then again its a matter of taste.
My observation so far was that the pornstars with the best wood (as in looks mighty hard and rigid) have the least veins (topical visible ones).

Penis blood circulation hasn't been researched completely yet. There is lots of reaseach on that right now.
Wich I think is great because its always better to have a naturally excellent workin hard rigid dick than pop viagra and pop blood flow enhancers.

I may be the only one with my opinion on veins but so be it. I take the common "nice veins" comment as an insult and not as a compliment

The LOT theory, for me, has helped me open my eyes to the importance of tunica type stretching. Before the Loss of Tug-back Theory was proposed I knew why I was doing downward stretches as it was lengthening my suspensory ligaments but upward stretching, even though I did it, really had no sound explanation on it's internal function. I like to understand what is happening in my Penis Enlargement and Bib's LOT theory gave me a better understanding of this.

Yeah from what I've read the ligs will always be relatively easy to stretch and see gains, and stretching the tunica will always be a tough and timely process because of it's lack of elasticity.
So, the LOT in my eyes is a good thing to know but shouldnt persuade you to slow down on the tunica stretch because in the long run thats whats going to inhibit growth. If anything its helped me realize just how much I need to start increasing the intensity of my tunica stretches and finding new exercises.

Stuck.

This has some really good info that I think should be available to newbies without having to search through a zillion "what's a jelq?" posts to find it.

Here's the LOT theory thread.
