Trojan Magnum XL Observations

OK first off you can go to the trojan website and get a free condom in the mail. I of course ordered an XL.

I slipped it on today while wearing a cockring to keep me consistently hard. The wife and I don't use condoms so I don't get much actual use of the things. I slipped on a regular condom first. Now, with the cockring, I'm 5.5 inches in EG. Below are my observations.

Regular condom (Lifestyles regular)
The regular condom went on with minor difficulty. I definitely felt that I could have sex w/ it though I wasn't a fan of the feeling as it squeezed onto my dick. I think I lost about 1/8" EG with the condom.

Note that the regular condom broke when i tried to slip it back on to double check my results. This might be due to 1) it was expired, 2) it was pretty dang snug and/or 3) I was trying to put it back on.

Trojan Magnum XL
There was a little of the constriction feeling as the condom rolled down, but it fit nicely with no initial bagginess. EG was 5.5" so I didn't lose anything. When I put the condom back on to double check, it did feel a little stretched out. The base was nice and tight so even stretched, I don't think it would have fallen off.

Conclusions
1. Don't put on a condom a second time. Duh.
2. I don't think I'm quite ready sex (with a partner) with the XL, but I'm close.
3. The regular Magnums which are between the sizes of a normal condom and the XL should be a better fit for my girth.

Yep, the magnum should be fine. I use them at my ~ 5 3/8 girth and they suit me perfectly. I think the XL would require maybe 5 5/8 girth or so.

I hate Trojans, I only use durex. To Me Durex is a far better condom then trojan. Plus if your big Durex makes a xxl, you ought to see the look on the checkout girls face when I go buy some XXL's lol

I'm currently about 5.5" girth mid-shaft and closer to six at the base. Regular condoms always seem a little too constricting to me. For the past two years or so I have used Magnums when I've used condoms. They work just fine for me. I tried the Magnum XL's once and they were okay too. Perhaps it's because my base is just big enough to keep the condom from slipping. But it didn't seem to be excessively baggy along the shaft either. In fact, it might just be marketing b/c there didn't seem to be that great a difference between the Magnums and the Magnum XLs to me. For what it's worth...

the trojan magnums fit me fine and i haveto be at least 6 thick. because i was using the trojan ez's when i was about 5.5. i'll try out the XL's in a month or so see what's goin on

Samz, from the looks of your dick pic, i would think that Magnum XL's should fit you fine.

Durex XXL's are only slightly thicker than Magnums, but they're longer. XXL's thickness is somewhere between the Magnum and the Magnum XL. I think Trojan gives you more thickness options than Durex does, for this reason i prefer Trojan.

Check out condomania.com they have a size table and the XL's are only slightly wider (a few milimeters) than the Magnums....but you can say you wear a Magnum XL.

i find that even magnum xl are too tight,, are there any just a little bigger?? im 8 1/8 and 6 1/8,, when there tight its sometimes difficult to keep goin,, wheras when im bare i can go for an hour and a half,, any thoughts??

the thing bout all condoms, they dont make them for the typical Penis Enlargementr. MOst dudes, like me got a thicker base then the rest of the penis. I cant roll a XL all the way down to safe my life. If I do it will slip back off the base. THey got to make a XXL that can handle massive base girth.

Sounds like savvy marketing to me.

I've always thought it would be great to create knock-off Levi labels (the leather ones on the back where your belt passes thru). No quicker way to go from a 36" to a 32", me thinks. To the Asian company that will manufacture the labels, I would trade medium sized condoms, marked XXL.

Anyone with some more experience on condom sizing.

Last night I tried a MAGNUM, and it was shear torture putting on and pinching.

I've attached photos to show the magnitude of the problem.

I had never tried any condom larger than standard size many years before I obtained my current girth.

It was a little over an inch short down the base, and impossible to slide stretch down and slide since my girth goes from 7.0 mid to 8.0 base, basically flaring out.

It felt like I was trying to put on one of the skinny balloons animals are made from at fairs.

Is there a sizing guideline or chart online or do I have to experiment by purchasing several brands?
