I've been doing manual stretching almost ever day for a month, and I wanted to start adding in hanging or just use some type of hanger in my manual stretching (going to build a Captain's Wench).

Now... from what I've been reading/seeing I'm WAY smaller than a bunch of the people who are hanging... my non-stretched flaccid length is in the 1.5-2" range. Stretching out I hit the 5" range, but then my girth is down to like 1" (can anyone say pencil?). So, I'm a little worried about trying to attach anything (reason for the Captain's Wench, hopefully I'll be able to adjust it to fit me).

So, I see people say that you should attach .5" or more behind the glands, well that won't exactly work for me because there wouldn't be enough shaft left to attach to.

Does anyone have any experience with stretching out in your flaccid state and then wrapping/attaching? I'm just not sure on what to do or where to start without injuring myself.

I would give pictures but my digital camera was stolen and I can't afford anything decent right now.

Well... I made a CW tonight and tried it out. Seems like I'm doing nothing but pulling skin... wasn't very comfortable. I made it 1.5" wide instead of 2", maybe that still is too much? It dang near coved everything... I was getting it on as tight as possible, and wasn't slipping too much.

I had a strip of old t-shirt then some [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?44-Ace-Strapped-Jims-Joint]ace[/words] self-sticking wrap on, then the CW. I could pull a lot harder than with an OK grip, but again it felt like I was pulling more skin (from the base, I could see my fat pack pulling away a lot) than anything else.

You are fine. It will just take some getting used to.

That size is not unusual. Your flaccid stretch is all that matters. When you wrap, you need to stretch out your unit, grasping from the head. Then, begin your wrap an inch behind the head, and wrap all the way to the base. After wrapping, your unit should stay in that extended state, about five inches. If it does not, your wrap may not be solid enough. So then, you will have probably three inches or so to work with, to attach your hanger.

An inch or so of head, then attach an inch behind the coronal ridge. You have plenty of room.

That is what you are supposed to do. Stretch out your flaccid, then wrap.

Not unusual at all. Skin is generally the first limiting factor for almost every guy. You will have to stretch skin before you can hit the internal structures. For most guys, it takes about two weeks, in the beginning, to stretch enough skin. But, as you grow, you will have other periods of needed skin stretch.

There should be a slight burning with skin stretch. If it becomes too intense, just lower the weight until you can handle it.

Thanks for the hints. I started the wrap right at the head, I'll move it back toward the base more tonight. It did stay about 3" after wrapping. The biggest problem I had was the skin that goes from the penis to the scrotum, it goes up the shaft about half way after I stretch out and makes wrapping more difficult.

I think I need to work on my wrapping a bit more too. I seemed to be getting a good bit of slippage no matter how tight I got things. I'll have about the same amount of cloth (10"x1") but have a bit more of the [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?44-Ace-Strapped-Jims-Joint]ace[/words] type wrap (it is the self-adhesive type).

hey zuul I have that problem as well with the scrotal skin connecting half way up my penis shaft. It gets in the way especially if my balls are hanging especially low. YOu just got to watch it and push it toward your balls.
 
Well, I really started hanging last night and I'm about half way through tonight (on one of my breaks now).

So, I figured out I was using too much wrap and that was causing slipage. I also figured out that my arm pulling is WAY more than like 5-10 lbs, so it was an inacurate test. I've shortened my wrap to 8" of cloth and 8" of [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?44-Ace-Strapped-Jims-Joint]ace[/words] wrap starting right at my circ scar (about 1" below my head). This wrap seems to have done the trick. I'm using a 1.5" Captain's Wench as my holder as I can't afford anything else right now (in the middle of a divorce, sucks my life and money out of me).

So, I filled up a 1/2 gallon milk jug and it weighs in at just below 5 lbs, and that is what I'm using as a weight until next week when I get paid and can go buy real weights. I also have a 1/4 gallon jug that is about 2.5 lbs. I've been doing 2 sets of 5 lbs for 12 minutes and then the 7.5 lbs for 10 minutes with a 10 minute rest (unwrapped, massaging) in between. How does that sound for now? Oh, I do this AFTER the [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/penis-enlargement-newbie-forum/1597-dlds-first-routine-i-gained-2-inches-with-this-routine-full-tutorial.html]newbie routine[/words] before the 600 jelqs.

Zuul, when you eventually do go buy some weight plates, be sure and buy a 1 1/4 lb plate too. This is available in both standard and olympic sizes (I use standard). This will allow you to make increases in 1.25 lbs increments. Which is a lot easier to do than making 2.50 lbs jumps. I feel this allows for a more steady and continual progress, without plateauing as much.
 
Good point on the weight increase.

I think I was able to do the 5lb, 5lb, 7.5lbs weight the first night because I just wasn't used to it. Last night was a different story and I just did the 3 12 minute 5lb sets.

I think I'm getting more skin stretch right now than anything. The skin on my shaft is pretty tender after each set, but I can really feel the pulling of the internals when hanging, I also can feel the slight soreness by the base this morning (not a bad feeling, just like when you work out, feels good).

I'm hoping that doing this will help after my stretching. I'm think I'm going to alternate days of jelqing and hanging for a while and see how that does.

Fine. Just remember to move up slowly, in both time and weight. No big jumps. Move up in the number of sets, until you are hanging for your available privacy, multi-tasking time. Then, begin to move up in weight until you reach fatigue within the first set or two. Then reduce the weight as needed.

I do not know what the [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/penis-enlargement-newbie-forum/1597-dlds-first-routine-i-gained-2-inches-with-this-routine-full-tutorial.html]newbie routine[/words] is, but be sure you are not irritating the skin before hanging. This can give a bunch of problems that you do not need. Much easier to do any manual work you want after hanging.

Alrighty! I didn't get to do anything last night because I had a meeting that lasted well into the night and I needed some sleep for work today. Anyway, I was able to make a trip to Play it again Sports and was ablel to pick up 2 used 5lbs weights and a used 2.5 lbs weight (didn't find any 1.25 weights). Cost? 4 bucks. Can't beat that!

So, I'll try tonight with hanging first, then stretching. If I have time I'll jelq too. I'm just going to stick with 3x5lb 15 minute sets with 10 minute breaks.

Question, does everyone unwrap and massage between sets? I've been doing this and it helps with getting the circulation back, but wasn't sure. When I finish with these 10+ minute sets even though my head isn't cold or numb, it looks kinda purple-ish. After unwrapping it goes back to normal almost immediately.

I did not. After I got my routine down, I would only unwrap perhaps once during the day for a bit. The rest of the time, after a set, I would slap my penis on my leg, and do BTB jelqing to restore complete circulation for my ten minute break.

If it does not return to normal even while still wrapped, you may have the wrap too tight.
