So today I jelqued for the first time with an overhand grip. Also, I believe what I did was a dry jelq because I used only one hand. I felt the blood rush to my head even better than when I do wet jelqs with two hands. I think it is because I was able to grab the underside better with an overhand grip than with an underhand grip. Anyway my question is ... is there one technique that is better than another? Please advise. Thanks
 
I alternate between both every 100 jelqs. :)
Since you can grab closer to the base with the overhand grip, it is good for expanding that small section of your shaft you normally wouldn't be able to expand with the standard grip.

In my case, since I'm larger at the base and I'm trying to even the girth throughout my shaft, I'm doing the following:

- 100 jelqs overhand grip
- 100 jelqs standard grip (totals 200)
- 100 jelqs overhand grip (totals 300)
- 100 jelqs standard grip (totals 400)
- 100 jelqs overhand grip (totals 500
- 500 jelqs standard grip (totals 1000)

So, I'm doing more of the standard grip jelqs so as not to focus so much on the base of the shaft but more on the middle-upper section.

Cool use of jelqs, how do you think this benefits you most? Is it more to get better jelqing angles or are you doing it for another reason...very curious.

Not sure if you were asking me but the reason I decided to do it like that is because I was just curious. Come to find out, I get great expansions. However, I will try Slow Squash Jelqs today. Now when I do it in between my pumping, do I do it for a period of time and do sets of that, or do I hold it that way for the full five minutes? Please advise. Thanks

Awesome that your are experimenting, this is where the secrets are found. I suggest just timing your sets so you don't have to count. Counting always distracts me and takes away from my concentration. The SlowSqushJelq is a very good exercise for this job because of its ability to disperse water retention and allow for greater tissue expansion. Give them a try and get back to me.

Well, as I said, my aim in alternating the grip is basically to work on my full shaft, only with more emphasis on the upper half of the shaft, since mine is larger at the base (quite larger in fact, if you look at my stats).
So, the first 500 jelqs I get a mix between both grips so as to work on my entire length. On the second set of 500 I use only the standard OK grip so as to NOT work on the base and focus mainly on the rest of the shaft, to see if I can even the girth a bit more :)
I haven't done any kind of experience with angles for any significant amount of time, as I do my jelqs horizontally, both with the standard grip and the overhand grip. However, I've tried jelqing with the overhand grip, at about 80% erect, and, if I point my penis down, the rush of blood to the glans is huge. You can really feel it engorge as you jelq down the shaft :) However, since I jelq sitting, it's not very comfortable to do this. It works better if you do it standing.

Oh, one more thing I've added recently. After I finish the 1000 jelqs I then do the following:

- do 1 jelq until halfway down my shaft and then hold the grip for 10 seconds;
- change hand and do the same, starting at the base, jelqing until halfway down the shaft and holding the grip for 10 seconds.

I do this for 10 repetitions (adding up to 100 seconds). The aim here is to focus on engorging my glans with blood, so I can get that nice mushroom head.
Maybe it is just my imagination, but after only 2 days of doing this, I felt like my glans was already larger when erect rofl

Variation in stretching has always been very important but in many ways jelqing has not seen the same treatment. I love the idea of changing angle and grip while jelqing. I also think trying different erection levels is smart. Keep really close watch on your log and see if this is helping. If you are making glans gains, that is amazing, one of the hardest places to gain. Be sure to do strong kegels when jelqing, this will further expand the head.
