Hey guys, newbie here just discovering the world of PE.

I'm currently starting at about 6.5" NPEL (I think that's the term used here) and am really only looking to put on about 1 inch in both girth and length if possible. I have been doing extensive research and am still on the fence about trying since, as expected, I am both nervous to attempt PE and am skeptical about PE. I've read threads discussing proper warm up, however, I still feel nervous about jelqing and stretching due to previous issues with urethritis.

A few questions I need to ask:

Is 1" within a 6 month period a reasonable goal?
Is further PE for gain retention (I think they call it maintenance PE) really necessary, or are those who have lost gains the exception to the rule?
How many of you have had issues with urination or other similar issues during your transformation and/or after PEing?
How effective is a no-equipment routine?
How effective is PE truly? I've seen pictures of DLD and although I'm not accusing him of lying, I am still very skeptical about PE.

Thank you for the information, and hopefully you guys can convince me to commit.

One inch is 6 months is very reasonable with proper discipline and a good routine. Maintenance is something that is highly recommended to follow for life, one session per week can keep you in great shape. Cementing gains is different than maintenance, Cementing is when you continue your training past your goal by about .5" before you stop a "gain producing" workout. Once this is accomplished then the maintenance takes effect. I have never had problems with urination or any other issue that has negatively impacted my gaining. You do not need to believe my gains to gain yourself, do this for yourself...without me in the mix you have thousands of others reporting gains, trying is believing.

Skepticism is a natural part of the enlargement process, we start with little belief because we have not experienced it ourselves, it takes us trying it and making the gains ourselves to believe in others who have successes. Once brief kicks in your skepticism will turn to admiration for those who have done so well.
 
I was also skeptical when first started PE. I think everyone is like DLD said. It's natural to be.
PE if done on a regular basis and you stick with it and you do it to some degree of intensity will 100% give you size increase in flaccid length, erect length, and girth.
I have no gain from telling you this. I am just a guy at home doing PE. This forum has shown me everything available in the way of PE and the guys here are great to help you along the way.
No question is stupid or embarrassing. We have all had questions we needed answered so ask away and others will be here to help you.
You can definitely get gains from non equipment PE. I got gains that way when I first started as I think most guys do. But there are also a lot of good ways to gain with equipment and a lot of that equipment you can make yourself without having to buy pricey stuff. PE works 100% for everyone as long as you are willing to put in the work. A lot of new members are gaining including old members. You just need to believe and put in the work to make the gains.
