I know this thread is dead and the OP may not read my reply (or has already decided on the Hardwear rings) but it's late at night and I was thinking about ordering one more because my experience has been pretty good.

I've seen some rings on the market styled in a horseshoe style but made from silicone. I have yet to try to those. Less chance to mess up with the sizing and the price that I've seen is more affordable.
