I have said this before but..
Cumming does not decrease gains on itself, but if you overdo it, it will decrease EQ and if EQ is decreased your sessions will be worse and your limit to surpass a new size is much further away!
You have to find a good balance on when to cum and not to. Don't edge too much, don't ejaculate too much, find the sweet spot. Edging will help with cementing penis size or in some circumstances add size,
Edging stretches your potential limit naturally & gradually. If your tunica responds good to this, and your tunica is easy to increase, edging alone can help you with gains along with some kegels. I think doing something
before the edging session will help, something that promotes expansion. Like regular PE exercises.

I did edging during my two year PE break with no gains made, but I did not lose any :D.

And so far edging hasn't helped me "last longer", meaning the urge to come didn't shift :/
My EQ is still an 8/10

Same for me, the urge to cum didn't shift as you said. Still the same, the only thing i have noticed
is that my EQ is better than when i started because it helped my penis realize my true size.

relaxation. Edging is the time where you can practice freely to handle your sexual emotions, feel your body

From personal experience cumming too much with inadequate rigorous exercise will decrease your UNCEMENTED gains. If you cement your gains you wont have trouble.
Edging does help with girth mainly.

You are correct. Too much of anything is bad but in PE too many orgasms can cause much eq issues. Fatigue will always make you feel smaller and over-masturbating or similar will only make the fatigue worse. Cum once a day at most but never go a week without cuming.
