You edged for 30 minutes then masturbated after. But the whole thing as one is masturbation if you want to couple the two into just 1 idea even if you took a break. Ejaculation just defeats the purpose of the whole concept of edging.

I completely disagree. How would having an orgasm undo the previous 30 minutes of edging? Let's say I lifted weights for 30 minutes then followed that w/a relaxing massage, did I just undo the previous half-hour of training? Absolutely not...same thing w/edging, that time spent training doesn't go away

Yes it would. We're talking about the penis not about skeletal muscle. From first hand experience earlier this year I experimented with masturbation and PE to see if masturbation hindered gains. Very true. There is definitely associations that do work in the comparison but muscle is not one of them.
 
Perhaps using 'weight-lifting' and getting a massage directly after a workout caused a bit of confusion...what I was getting at was the fact that you can edge for 30 minutes and then if you decide to masturbate to completion, you haven't all-of-a-sudden negated your entire edging session. Those 30 minutes that you spent training didn't go away
