Allow me to be clear for a moment in saying, I am not asking for any partiality. I am not trying to win, neither have I really tried to win any month that I have been here (although I have been tempted). I am not here for prizes, or competition. I appreciate the monthly giveaway in that it allows access to some fairly expensive tools in exchange for participation and I think that's a great idea. I however have the opportunity to afford the tools I need without major issue (within reason) and provided that I won in any given month I would give the prize to someone more deserving and in need. The likelihood of that happening is low though because of my professional responsibilities and demanding travel schedule. I also try to focus on providing quality posts and content (when my knowledge or research is sufficient) not quantity of posts. I am here for the brotherhood, period.

That all being said, there is no need to get upset about some people voicing their desire for quality to hold additional weight in the scoring system. A post, which had hours and hours of research and measurement behind it should carry weight for anyone who is willing to put in that kind of time. This is not partiality to a person, it is recognition of hard work and quality contribution. I am not asking to win, I will give the prize away if I did, I am just voicing (albeit maybe more clearly) what the others were expressing their opinion on.

I hope ChillDsh wins, he is well ahead of me in posts, likes and thanks. I have no intention of pulling an all-nighter to try to close that gap, so it's all his.
