It depends on what kind of gel it was. Chances are, aloe vera was just a minor ingredient in the lube your gf used. Pure aloe vera gel is not very gel-like. It is thicker than water, but about as useless as a jelq lube. This homebrew is for the purpose of avoiding dangerous ingredients, and nothing else. So that lube your girlfriend used probably has ingredients that would make it a poor jelq lube for long-term heavy usage.bjohnson123 said:

lol no I don't have any intention to go commercial or anything, but I had figured that one gallon of my homebrew would cost around $30, so going by the same measure (8lbs~1 gallon) I was wondering if the Parkay is cheaper. One disadvantage to the Parkay is the need to refrigerate, however. I am surprised about your guess at $10...I would have expected it to cost a bit more!crazyed27 said:

I have used baby oil in the past but ATM use coca butter but it doesnt last long but feels good, also aloa vera is very good. I'm going to try the olive oil on its own and see how that goes.

Good choice on the olive oil, but you will probably find the same problem with it that I mentioned in one of my previous posts (first page of this thread). If you mix in a bit of glycerine and aloe vera (all 100% pure!) you will be amazed at how much better it works!REDZULU2003 said:
