Hi guys,
I need your advice as I don't know what I would need to do. Yesterday I went to see the consultant urology at the top hospital in London. I have discussed to him about the swelling in my scrotal sack. I have had a checked over and he said that he don't know why my scrotal sack got swollen when he saw it, so he suggested me to have a ultrasound scan at the same day when I go back to see him. I have had a ultrasound scan and the nurse have found a lump on the left side of my scrotal sack when she asked me to make some cough, so she have told the urology about what she saw on the scan.
I got out of the room and when I got called in, I have been told that I have varicocele a small lump on the left side of my scrotal sack which it make my scrotal sack to swell like bags of worm. I did not realised I have this type of problem for three years which it has cause me the pain and mild swelling when I stand up for too long or when I go for a long walk. He also said that I have a tight muscle in my scrotal sack that pull my testicles which it have cause the testicles to get shrinkage, the muscle is called cremaster. He said that he would leave this alone as it is too risky to operate it as it could give me further problems especially damage on the testicles as I would not have children again, nerve injury, bleeding, infections...etc. He advised me to do some research first to have a time to think about what I need to do before I will go back and see him again.
Today when I went out for a drive, I could feel the pain in my left scrotal sack (I knew I have varicocele) so when I got home I have laid down on my bed to make me feel more comfortable and when I unzipped my boxer, I can see that my scrotal sack got hang lower without get shrinkage with bags of worms. I can confirmed that I have varicocele because I got the swelling with the bag of worms when I went for a long walk to see the specialist yesterday, I have had a pain when I went for a drive and when I laid down it got relieved of the swelling without the bags of worms as my scrotal sack got hang lower. And I can see that I might have a turkey neck where the skin gets too tight between on the penis shaft and the scrotal. I have attached the pictures for you to take a quick look. It sounds like to me that I don't have a tight cremaster muscle. I don't know how he knows that if I do have a tight cremaster muscle or not.
How do I know if I do have a tight cremaster muscle? Is it easy to treat it?
Do you think if I do have a turkey neck that makes my penis to go small?
Can varicocele cause erectile dysfunction?
Do you recommend if I should get the treatment for varicocele to stop giving me further problems?
Please let me know what you think.
Thanks in advance.
