I tried this out while stretching at really hard level, and got a slippage after awhile, probably from some heat perspiration between my hand and penile.
So I took a small piece of toilet paper (one pre-cutted piece) and folded it one time around my penile and the grip got really good during the whole stretch!
So simple and really effective.
