It should give guys here a more realistic view of average penis size, and should make a lot of us feel better about ourselves. It's a study of erection angle and shape, but inlcudes length measurements (sorry nothing about girth).
Out of 75 subjects, about 70% fell between 5.1-6.9". (Seems to me the measurement method was NBP). I think this agrees with most size surveys we've seen.
The interesting part is that only 6 subjects were 7" or more. That's only 8% equal to or greater than 7". Only 1 subject measured >8" at 8.25" AND THAT WAS THE LARGEST IN THE STUDY. NOT A SINGLE SUBJECT 9" OR OVER. Only 1% equal to or greater than 8".
On the other end of the spectrum, there were a lot of small dicks. 21% (16 out of 75 subjects) were 5.0" or less. The best thing about this study is there are erect photos of every subject. You can see how common 4.5" dicks are out there. I realize the sample size is too small for this survey, but I think the percentages would remain essentially the same with a larger sample size.
I think we all need to re-think what really is avg, what the "normal range" is and what constitutes a big cock.
