I have finally developed a method for wearing the extender and a wrap (a variation of velcro mod) that allows me to put in a lot of time without discomfort. I finally have a method that eliminates irritation/skin inflammation due to friction at the base, along the shaft, and at the wrap. After years of messing around with the extender and dealing with constant discomfort, I now can easily wear the extender for 2+ hours, and have even done 3 hours before rewrapping. Even then, I just rewrap to encourage good blood flow. Discomfort is not an issue. I now can achieve 5+ total hours a day without discomfort.

So with my new method, all I really feel is some dull aching after about 2 hours. There is no real pain, and no discomfort. I use a tension that coincides with the 2nd to last marking on the rods which house the springs.

My question is to those that have achieved results with extenders: Is pain and discomfort necessary to make gains? If so, how much?

That's good shit bro, I've had to spend 8 days so far out of my size genetics extender. I had a few small tears where the scrotum attaches to the shaft. I'm making sure it's totally healed before going back in. I've done about 15 minutes with the bathmate which doesn't seem to aggravate it. Before the year I was logging 4 hours a day but it was hurting like a bitch. I'm curious can you share your wrapping technique and your modification at the base???

I would not say pain but I will say discomfort and soreness. Soreness and discomfort are the results of a good stretching session. Pain should never be present (sharp and shooting), if you feel pain STOP and check what is going on.

Would you say a general discomfort and soreness near the end of or after a stretching session is what I want? If so, I would say I achieve that.

I assume PE progress is similar to weight lifting; if you're not sore afterwards, you probably didn't push hard enough.

Some might call what I have done overkill. It requires you to be crafty, make measurements, and I am not going to preface this by saying it is simple. It isn't. It takes patience and some additional financial investment. But like I said, comfort was just a real big issue for me so I was willing to get creative.

I created a pvc pipe/modeling clay mold within which I suspended the SG base. Using some finesse, I poured liquid medical grade silicone and allowed it to cure around the SG base. The finished product is a SG base cast inside a contoured, smooth, soft (yet firm), hypoallergenic silicone base. It virtually eliminates skin irritation due to friction as long as you use your favorite [non-silicone based] lubricant, lotion, or moisturizing oil.

As for the wrap: I had an anti-turtle silicone sleeve left over that I wasn't using anymore. So, I cut it down to a size suitable to be used with a velcro mod wrap. Put that into an appropriate position, cinch that down with your favorite velcro method, apply your favorite [non-silicone based] lubricant to eliminate any friction, and you're done. (The real essential component, unless you just happen to have a big dick head already, is to get a pump going with a bathmate first. The idea is that your silicone sleeve can't slide off because your dick head is simply in the way). The big idea is that with this wrapping technique, you virtually eliminate the need for friction. It is just not how this method works. So between the smoothness of the silicone sleeve and the addition of lubricant, you can eliminate skin irritation due to friction.

edit:

Another benefit of casting the base in a silicone mold is that you cover the metal discs and the metal threads which tend to snag your pubes and rip them out. So, if you prefer to rock pubes, you can. It is no longer necessary to be trimmed all the time.

A major trade off of this method is that any and all discreteness is gone. The base is not flat anymore. There is absolutely no chance of wearing this under your loosely fitting pants or even an apron. However, that trade off is in the interest of comfort.

Thanks a lot! If you get the chance can you throw a pic or two up just so I can get the idea what it looks like? I'm pretty handy with stuff like that just curious with how yours turned out.

Sounds like quite the project! I think I have a pretty good idea of how your setup looks, but can we see a photo of it?

In the soreness and aching part of PE it is very comparable to the Gym and muscular soreness. This soreness is with most men for about 4 months until they no longer feel the soreness, this does not mean gains have stopped, only that you have become used to it. Whenever you increase the intensity or add a new exercise, routine or tool with more intensity you will probably feel it then too. It is a temporary state and it does show a good workout.

I am hesitant to promote my method and rig setup because I have not actually achieved measurable results yet. Indeed, sharing my methodology was not the intent of this thread.

However, as requested:

Above you can clearly see the base of the SG through the translucent silicone. By using a release agent I was able to prevent the silicone from sticking to the metal parts of the SG, giving the disks freedom to rotate and allowing me to still wear the SG in the up or down position.

Here you see my rig for traction-based PE. I do not use tape, powder, ace bandages, etc., ( I do use oil as lubrication, though.) The velcro straps I use are actually computer cable ties. They have an opening on one end which makes it very easyto cinch down and use small adjustments to find the perfect tightness.

Hi everyone from brotherhood. I am almost new to this and sharing my experience... For me also in the start it was too painful to keep it on for 2 hours in a shot... but I figured out a way to handle to sourness and pain...

I bought sticking gauze from a pharmacy wrapped it around the base of the device (I change this gauze on weekly basis as now). Secondly I am using baby powder on my base in the tip of the pens... Now I can wear without any trouble for 2 hours... it's just the last minutes of two hours bring some sourness, I take it out do some massage powder my penis again and wear it... goes smooth again for the next two hours...

I started 3 weeks ago and I am able to use it 8 hours a day
