Just bought my bathmate but can't get good suction

So i just received my Bathmate and i just tried it out. It seems like im not getting good suction from this thing. I would pump it at least 5 times and try pulling it away from my body and it will come off easily. I saw a routine here where you do stretches with the Bathmate and it tell you you gotta pull the Bathmate and that will stretch it out. Am i doing something wrong? My balls are not in the way. Can someone refer me to a thread helping guys work the Bathmate? I see routines but i have no idea how much pumps is too much or if im doing it right. Please help :)

Hello and welcome to Matters of Size. First let me say congratulations on your purchase, it is an amazing pump. Many new users have somewhat of a learning curve when first using so be gentle with yourself and allow yourself to learn the pump. For best suction keep pubic hair trimmed and use a small amount of vaseline around the gator seal. Be sure to wash it off after! I would also suggest reading through some of the threads in the Bathmate forum that have some good advice.
 
Is it normal that its so easy to take the Bathmate out even doing 5 pumps though? I dont press down the release valve. And it seems when i do pump i can only do one good pump and the rest of the pumps are a struggle. Also i trim my hair and still nothing
 
Any help? I've been reading some stuff and all i tells me is to pump it a few time till u get suction. When i pump it a few times and leave it along it just slowly comes off. When i pull it with little effort it just comes off. I dont want to pump oit like 20 times because i dont know what im doing! I dont get what im doing wrong. I move my balls out of the way, up the pump on the right way, pump it like three times and wait a bit... then i feel like im not getting enough suction so i pump a few more times... I dont feel like feeling of my penis being pumped. Is the air escaping? I noticed theres a curve on the base guessing its for the comfort of the balls but is that why im not getting good suction? I dont want to keep trying because i might injure my penis. So please tell me if you pump atleast 5 times is it normal for the pump to come out easily? The stuff im reading arent helping me
 
Hello, i also have the same problem when i was first use Bathmate. At first, i almost return the Bathmate coz i think it doesn't suck well. Next morning, i tried agian by rotate into 360 degrees, but still not work. Again don't give up, fill more hot water, insert dick, i pressed down to create the pressure, then water out while some water out, i put the tip of pointing finger on the top of bahtmate(small black pastic), then finger out, press down again, water out, then put finger tip....OMG, i need not to return my Bathmate to the distributor. it's woks properly. i hope these can be helpful for you. I had the same problem at first too but works properly now!

Like was just said I put my finger on the black tip and pumped DOWN. Released finger and let Bathmate go UP.

The valves seem to not work well until they're broke in a bit...

Viwit, This seems to be what so many do. They first freak out that it is not working then they learn how to use it the right way and feel foolish for their initial ways. I have seen it so many times. It takes some learning but once mastered, the Bathmate is priceless!
 
Yeah i still cant get it to work... Tried the finger on the black thing when pushing down and releasing it. That doesn't work. No matter how much i pump the pump just rises up and becomes loose.. I dont understand what im doing wrong... I feel that the under side of the pumo (the black ring) is causing most of the problem. I can feel spaces at the bottom because its slopped outwards

That is correct. I see no difference in the model. They are legit and if you could point me in the direction of the exact thread you ordered through I can assure you they are an affiliate of MOS, just for Canadian customers. Very odd thing, I know, I don't fully understand but somehow Canada is different sales wise.

Did you try Vaseline ? I tried first without with not much luck but then worked first try with vas
 
I'm really getting frustrated with this pump... i've tried everything you guys said and it's not working. I pump and leave it and the suction goes away... i pump it even more but it does the same thing...
Heres exactly what i do.
Put it on and pump it 5 times or till i feel it has good suction then i leave it there
I then check to see if there is good suction so i pull a little and this thing comes off like nothing
So i start over and instead of pulling i just pump more and leave it. after a few seconds i can feel the suction loosing its grip and my penis isn't pumped anymore and what do you know the pump comes off like nothing.

I'm seriously getting pissed off... I see other pump where you just put it on and pump it with some ball... this one you have to push it towards your body. after one pump i can hardly pump anymore...

Aside from taking apart and cleaning again, being extra sure everything is seated right, at this point it sounds as though it is defective. Have you tried to contact the Bathmate Canada people for a replacement?
 
Go through this list first :

+ Trim your application area (man-scape the area with clippers) ***very!!! Important!!!***

+ Try without comfort pad (if removable) and add Vaseline to the area for max suction***very important***

+ Check to make sure that there is very little air left in the tube (literally bubbles only)

+ If you are still having trouble, then there may be an issue with your device
