Is it ok to split your routine up into sections throughout the day?

I am currently doing the DLD newbie routine which involves doing 3 sets of each stretch everyday. I am trying to do between 4-6 sets of each stretch each day.

Is it ok to have 3 sessions where I do 2 sets of each stretch or would it be better to do 2 sessions of 3 sets? Or does it make no difference?

You'll get more out a workout if you can do it all at once.

Why do you feel the need to do double the recommended number of sets? You'll get more out of your workouts if you focus on increasing rep quality and intensity instead of just doing more than the recommended number of sets.

I guess im just really wanting to make quick gains. I feel the reps I am doing at present are of good quality and intensity im just ambitious to make good gains

This is where you should be! This state of mind will get you to where you want to be very quickly.

Thanks DLD! Really hope I can reach my goals if I stick to it with good intensity

Move from hope to knowing!
