how to measure the Length of the penis Properly

sorry to ask this,,, what measuring instrument can be generally used in measuring the length of the penis, of the penis and also how to measure the length of the penis properly?

Take a look at the Measurement Abbreviations Plus, you will see that there is no right way to measure the penis- you have different measurements. Just use a tape measure and you should be ok. You can measure the way it is written in the thread, if you have any questions to ask, I'll try to help you

I am going to purchase the Bathmate Measuring Gauge ($15). It seems like the best tool for the job. I will post my review when I get it.

Correctly Charting Your Measurements

Bone Pressed Erect Length
Penis length is defined as the linear distance along the dorsal side of the erect penis extending from the mons veneris to the tip of the glans. In non-medical terms, the penis length is measured in a straight line on the top side of the erect penis, from the start of your pubic bone to the tip of your penis. Penis circumference is defined as the linear distance around the widest, thickest, part of the erect penis (see below).

1. Stimulate yourself into the erectile state.
2. Place your ruler at the pubic bone, at the base of your erect penis and measure to the tip of your glans.
3. Read the nearest quarter-inch measurement at the tip of your penis. (In the example shown, the measurement would be 4 and 3/4 (4.75) inches.)

Bone Pressed Flaccid Stretch
1. Make sure you are in a completely flaccid state.
2. Place your ruler at the pubic bone on the side of the penis
3. Stretch penis straight out
3. Read the nearest quarter-inch measurement at the tip of your penis

Non-Bone Pressed Erect Length
1. Stimulate yourself into the erectile state.
2. Place your ruler at the skin on the belly, at the base of your erect penis and measure to the tip of your glans without pushing ruler.
3. Read the nearest quarter-inch measurement at the tip of your penis.

Flaccid Length
1. Make sure you are in a completely flaccid state.
2. Place your ruler at the skin on the belly, at the base of your flaccid penis and measure to the tip of your glans without pushing ruler.

My most useful tool of measurement is my air pump, I have one that I max out girth-wise and I have measurements marked on the tube. It doesn't get much more bone-pressed than when in the tube, but more importantly, it provides a very consistent way to track progress. I just make sure I reach the same line (or greater hopefully) each time I enter the tube. The best way to track progress is to measure under exactly the same conditions each time and in the pump is the best way to do this for me. It's similar to the hand-held body fat tests: they may or may not be very accurate but they are precise (repeatable when taken under the same conditions) so it's possible to track progress which I think is the most important thing to keep track of. That's my two cents.

Why do we round to nearest quarter inch? Is it cause the begining of the ruler doesnt start till alittle bit after the real begging of the ruler?
