i was wondering what to look for while i am hanging...

i hang straight down while sitting at 10 pounds, it is really intense for me sincec i have only been hanging for about a month now, the first minute tends to have the most pain then it dulls out and is just a mild burn the whole time.

what are some signs i am doing this correct?

some days i have a slight soreness/tightness in my lower abdominals, about 3-6 inches above the base of my penis. it seems like i am literally pulling my dick out of my body.

also what are signs of fatigue? does this just refer to tenderness at the base of the penis?
 
It sounds like you are on the right track. What you are feeling is probably skin stretching which is necessary to accompany new growth. What weight did you start at? If it gets to bad, don't be afraid to lower the weight a little. You have plenty of time to increase the weight. To me, fatigue is reaching the point where you feel like you need to take the hanger off before your 20 minute set is up.
 
i am hanging at 5lbs for 20 mins 1st set then i move to 10 pounds on the second set. 10 pounds is somewhat intene for me i could not do 15 that is for sure. i have only been hanging for 3 weeks and i am still mastering wrapping techniques and positioning, as well as the overall set up of the device. i understand that the ligaments eed to be conditioned to hold such weights but i think most of the pain is derived from my methods of wrapping. the pain i experience that forces me to remove the weight is at the bas of my head... it feels like some skin is pinching when the weight pulls the skin downward towards the head. im not sure on the correct words to describe it but it is never painful on ther area where the circumcision scar is, but on the opposite side (the back?) where the skin bunches up at the bas of my head.
 
You are hanging quite a bit of weight just starting out. Hang with 5 lbs. and don't increase the weight on your second set. Strive for a 1-2 lb. increase in weight each week until you reach your maximum weight. Take your time, don't try to rush the weight increases.

i have found that the pain comes from my wrapping method, and at 10 pounds, the ace bandage begins to slide against itself very slowly, it hasnt popped off yet but it is something i have wondered about. any advise?

Advice is to practice a new wrapping method. There are some great stickies on the top of the SizeGenetics and the Hanging Forum from Fedora, Stillwantmore, and many others. Heavy weight is all about the wrap, the better the wrap the heavier you can go.

that is exctly what i have found. if i perform a great wrap, 10 pounds almost seems a little light. im using this beginning period to stretch the skin above the base and condition my ligs, just to be safe for now...

Yup, such a revelation, right? I went from hanging 10 pounds with excruciating pain to hanging more than 50 pounds with pure comfort. It was all the wrap!

what technique do you use?
 
also, when using the snake hanger i let the skin turkey neck all around before i wrap to provide cushion for the glans, but i feel a slight pinching where the skin and the glans meet, it could be because i asm using a 3.5 inch wrap instead of a 3 inch ace bandage and its not like i have 12 inches of areato select a wrapping position. I think it may also be due to the fact that i try not to stretch the foreskin too much i want to focus on the ligs, but from what i understand i need to stretch the skin more before the ligs become the focus?
 
i get the worst pain during the stretching of my foreskin but my lig's are strong. how quickly should my skin adapt. also i dont do directl BTC. I need to lean forwards slightly in order to reduce the pain on my skin. I understand the LOT theory a little and if my penis sticks up and out when erect hanging BTC would benefit me the most?
