I don't think you should buy new
extender. If you just started and you are having problems with comfort there can be two things causing this. First you might be using too much tension or you use bad padding. From my own experience when I started with my old classic
extender I did not have discomfort. I followed the instruction that came with the
extender and slowly build up to stronger tension. I started with 900 g of tension and after while moved up to 1200 g. I could not go for higher tension because of discomfort I started to having. I started to having little tear around my foreskin. I let it heal and tried to wear the
extender again at 1200 g but the same story happened again and again so I just simply stopped using it. However, in approximately six moths of using this device I've gained 3/8".
