I sure need to start my own personal routine for fat burning. Self-discipline has been quite absent from my life in that department, and the damn gut won't go away :p
 
Also, switching to eating smaller meals, 5-6 times a day is a good way to not only lose weight but to also just feel healthier.

by eating smaller meals, your body gets more accustom to not having so much food, so when you do go out and get fast food, you feel sick if you eat a huge portion.

It has worked for me, I am down 40lbs in the past 4 months, and feel better than I have in my entire life.

It will keep that metabolism running all day! The best thing you can do to get in shape.
 
These are exactly what I started a couple weeks ago and I am down 8 puonds so far. It feels good to put on clothes and actually be able to tell that you have lost weight. I also cut down on the time between sets and excersies when I workout to 45 second between sets and 1 minute when changing excersises, helps keep the heart rate up. I also have changed to unsweetened almond milk in my protien shakes because of the sugar in fat free milk, it tastes better also.
 
losing weight is great, but it is a bittersweet feeling having to buy a whole new wardrobe because your work shirts are so baggy that it looks like a parachute is wrapped around you.
 
I forgot to post this last night but my biggest way to help burn fat is to know exactly what you have eaten through the day. I keep a notebook and I write everything I eat through out the day. I measure and weigh my foods. I write the calories, fat, carbs, sugars, and protien down and the time I ate. I also only drink water through the day, about a gallon, no sodas or any sugary fruit drinks.
 
Some very good nutritional advise here and i would also add that what people need to do is calculate their basal metabolic rate and then eat in the 80%-100% range of that which will minimize muscle loss while allowing you to lose fat (body fat percentage is far more important than weight given that muscle is 4 times heavier than fat). This will also help you to maintain your balanced diet as you can divide you basal metabolic rate by 4 (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks) and then try eat a set amount.
 
Metabolism has a lot to do with weight gain and loss. When I am in the phase of burning fat my biggest goal is to keep my metabolic rate up an keep it up.
 
Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought I read somewhere that green tea lowers test levels in men. If I can find the article I will post.
