Bigger pump more expansion?

I am curious to know if anyone has automatically had bigger expansion inside the Bathmate when going to a bigger model. I have the x40 and I think my expansion in girth is blocking me from going past 6.5" mark while pumping. I come out with gaitor bite and was wondering if I were to goto a bigger model I could pass 6.5" first time using it. I am looking at the x40 as the next step up.

Now I pump, but I am not a pumper (someone that has knowledge and has used over 2-3 pumps for years). I am a proud owner of an X40 and that only. As much as I have read around the site, when I was wondering on what pump to buy, pumpers have wholeheartedly advised me to pick a smaller pump. The more your penis fills the pump- the better the expansion will be. But you should always have AT LEAST 0,5 inches above your girth as pump size.

I like the x40 a lot and I should have been more clear in my post stating I cant pass 6.5" in length while in the Bathmate. My girth after pumping is a solid 6" as I typically gain a half inch girth while pumping.
So would my girth restricting my penis hitting higher lengths in the Bathmate?

Also would the x40 allow me to get farther in length since the girth will have more room to expand first time using It?

Pumping is more for girth than to surpass a new length goal. You would need a skinnier tube to get more for length. Try doing a full set or 2 of stretches before going into the Bathmate. That usually gives me my longest record. When I get a good stretch before going into my X40, I easily get past the 7 inch mark. My second time around, I get past the final line on the top. I also have the X-40. I get the same length, just no gaitor bite. I get gaitor marks whether I do long or short sets with the X40 and sleeve inserts, and I'm only 5.5 inches girth. That tells you the expansion is there. I'm stopping today to get the vacuvin or rabbit to increase the vacuum and try to max the tube out this time around. You can see my size and with no other tools, I can almost max the X40, length and girth wise. With the wine vac mod, I believe I can max it out. It's all in how you approach the situation. Also, you can do shorter sets and still get the expansion you want. Check out DanClizer's for more info and DLD's girth blasters routine. For length, your gonna have to do stretches before going into the tube. Length is length and girth is girth, they don't intertwine unless You know how to properly execute exercises before and after your sessions. Good luck.

Hey my X40 came today. Will not get home till tomorrow and I hit it hard on the weekends and on the weekdays I do 10 min session in the shower and another 20 min later on.
Can not wait to se how much power the X40 has. I've definitely gained length in the Herc over the past two years so well see with the slightly bigger X40.

Bigger the tank the bigger the shark will grow I would not suggest a X-40 but if any man plans on breaking the 8 x 6 barrier he should prepare early and pick up a pump that he will not outgrow after a month. The mid size choices, which will bring you to the 9.5 x 6.5" area, are the Penomet, the X40 and the Extreme with the X-40 as the only XL size which can handle just about a foot of length and 8.5 inches of girth. Going too big of a tube can cause a lack of good enough pressure. This can be solved by using the ball fix I put forth a while ago, where a rubber ball is put into the tube first to take up much of the negative space, leaving the penis nice and pumped.

wow that sounds amazing DLD you just put a rubber ball in and fill with water and pump with the X-40? I'm 6.5 inch's at the base with a full erection and I can fill the base of the X-40 so that's 2 inch's of expansion feels good to get the ring marks of the X-40 because you know you are getting big expansion .

Intertwine that with a wine vac or air pump like I do to get the max expansion, and you'll be complaining about the rings, not just talking about them. Lol. Got my rabbit wine vac today, so gonna try it when the kiddies leave me be. Whenever that is. That's awesome to hear though. Great work.

Do you recommend doing the rubber ball thingy for better expansion?

I have to say the X40 has twice the volume as the Herc! need like an x35 or something haha. Im going to need time to figure out how to get it on comfortably the first try. I much prefer the way the Herc is setup as far as the comfort pad goes. The new comfort pad seems to grip a bit much. Also notice some fluid build up with the X40. I do love the new locking valve though. May have to go to the Girth program (SRT 5x5x3) on the x40, going to order a sleeve for my Herc also and alternate tools like runinggignus said I think the lenght is suffering in the X40 but its getting rid of those rings and chaffing!
