Amen Supra.And none of us are perfect.Only one man was perfect and he walked the earth 2000 years ago and they crucified him,but they couldnt kill him he arose in three days and if you believe in him you will have everlasting life.

Thanks for posting.
I have been doing a lot of healing prayers lately. I pray for differnet area's of my life and body that need healing. A good way to do it, is thank the Lord for the healing, rather than asking it, for by calling it into name in faith The Lord will answer you.

Thats true Supra.Thanks for fixing my post.I will be praying for you,please pray for me we should all pray for each other.God doesnt want us to grocery list our prayers he wants a relationship with us.We must thank him for what he has done and is doing,and pray that his will be done.His will is for our improvement not our down fall.

Supra,Pray that I will stop cursing also I try,I never take the lords name in vain but I trough the f word around alot.I am a contractor and although this is not an excuse its the environment I am in,I used to be real good about not cursing.I'm praying for you brother,Semper Fi your a great American, pup

What about sex before marriage?
I am a christian.
My take on it is a bit radical:
1. we have birth control,*condoms, contraceptives* back then when you came it was a done deal, you got a child and marriage then was necessary or you got illegitimate children and no parents to help them.
2. Disease control, condoms once again.
Marriage back then was pretty radical, your wives were categorized with personal posessions and women had no rights.
Times have changed, but i feel this is the forum to hear your point of view

Amen brother.I agree,and in no way am I perfect,we all fall short and do the wrong things the key is if we ask him we are forgiven for our sins,that doesnt mean we will stop sinning but its whats in our heart that counts.We have to try and get over(stop doing it)our sins but it isnt easy.

Nexus,In reading that whole chapter my take is that your love of the lord supercede love of immediate family and that love of jesus can also set you at odds against your family if they are non-believers.just my take what do you think?What about you Supra?

Praying to God asking to forgive our sins is the easy part of our Christian Believe. Asking our Fellow-men for understanding and forgiveness when we did something wrong to them is the difficult part. But when you admit you are not perfect and you make mistakes, you will feel better if you have to face that person again.
