I have my fall out shelter built, we did this last year before the US elections. We are stocked for 6 months underground, 1 year with rations. I picked a huge variety of meals so we do not get bored. Lot son candy for the kids. We have a up flush toilet that can be converted to compost toilet if we lose water. We have wood burning stove that will vent from basement 50 feet back into the woods where it will exhaust. We have a hydroponics set up for growing food if water is available. We also have 200 gallons of water stocked. We have thousands of batteries, white gas, alternative cooking means, energy packs, inverters and other energy resources. We also have stock piled Potassium Iodine, antibiotics, and various other medications. We have wine and alcohol in bulk. For the kids we have games, tons of video resources, books, [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/mosdvd.htm]DVD[/words]'s, etc. so they do not get bored being underground. we have sleeping quarters for 6. And of course bullets and guns will be highly stocked. We also have a washing area that could be plumbed or we could use grey water. Oh, and a shit ton of silver and gold.

This is the ideal set up if there is nuclear war. If there is conventional war we will have many more resources. I am not wishing of war but I am prepared.
