First the good.

After a few sessions of jelqing I am now able to measure 8 inches. This was my original goal. It seemed insurmountable at the time. Of course now I feel greedy and am thinking GEE I CAN MAYBE AIM FOR 9!

It's also slightly thicker. Maybe 1/4 inch thicker midshaft.

I must note these measurements were done after about 30 jelqs. Talk to me tomorrow. LOL

Ok the bad.

Bruises? Possibly blood blisters? I did my jelqing dry and I am uncut so theres lots of skin moving around down there.

Is this normal? Should I lay off the grippin and rippin for a while?

Is my grip too fierce?

I'm ok with some temporary marks, this extra length and girth is awesome!

maybe try some wet jelqs. i'm also uncut and i feel that the added lube helps things go alot more smoothly.

how many jelqs did you manage?
 
I have been doing maybe 30 per session. I hold it when I get some pressure going though.

I also did some stretches tonight. Not really sure what i'm doing but I think I must be doing something right.

So what about the bruises? Common mistake? permanent issues?

I think the bruising is just the skin.
 
I was adding something onto my post and the web ate it...

I was going to say that if all you are aiming for on lenght is another .75, you should try those suspensory ligament stretches I used. I got about 1.5 over a years time doing that. It's more like yoga slow and easy.
 
some guys of the lighter shade rofl experience bruising or discoloration but that takes a long time to occur...i believe what you are experiencing is just temporary...it might be from the pressure from the dry jelqs...you can use just a bit of vaseline or oil to make things go smoother...so you just start jelqing but you have been stretching for over a year?...if you are new to jelqing i would suggest that you try the wet ones for a while before doing them dry...you may see some good gains from dry but you probably could injure yourself too if not careful.

i believe german stallion wrote about stretches that you do lying down and you pull very gently instead of pulling with force...the object to pull as much of the penis out without getting any tug back...is that what you are talking about when you say suspensory ligament stretches?
 
Well I am duly impressed with those jelqs. I will lube up next time. I started with some hand lotion but it dried out and then things got bad. LOL

It all depends on how much you've been stretching your SL. I just figured it out on my own. I had a high slung penis. It was close to my body, but from the front girls thought it was bigger than it was if that makes sense.

The SL stretch is just for the SL that's the only thing it will stretch. You use the same grip as the jelq Ok only you bring the thumb and finger tips together through the skin.

Just sit on the edge of a chair. Reach underneath your cock and grip yourself through the skin. Down below where your penis is attached. Then you just do stretches. pulling it down, side to side. Etc. Go easy. No harsh moves till you get a sense of how it works.

Guaranteed you'll gain something from it.

Once you stretch it out you can also do standing ones where you reach from between your legs and brace your hands against the back of your legs as you stand up. I also lie in bed and just put my knees up and put my penis behind my leg before lowering my leg. It's great at night before you go to sleep or in the morning.

Just be creative.

On occasiona you might hear popping sounds as tendons snap inside there. I haven't had any bad results. My erection is still a high one and it's definately able to get up inside a girl now. yeah, i say wet jelqs. and use vaseline, its tried, tested, and hands down the best for jelqs. i was skeptical at first, but trust the voice of combined experience.

you will be able to do way more jelqs when wet, by a factor of 10 or so.

i think you are describing laying down lazy ass stretches...i do these sometimes when i'm watching t.v. or just waking up...sometimes i do between the cheek lazy ass stretches too...i know these will help with the flaccid gains as well...

well it sounds like you have a pretty good idea of stretching...now you can work on your girth and give those chicks something to marvel at and be scared of :P
 
Ok, here is maybe some more info on the SL stretch.

imagine that your cock is like a WWII mortar upside down. hope this visual helps... lol

Now the legs of the tripod are the tendons and skin that connect your mortar to your pubic bone ontop. The barrel is... well, the barrel is your barrel. It's what you shoot out of. ;)

So what you do is reach underneath and grip from the sides below the tendons and pull straight down so that it stretches those tendons and skin. Once those get loose it stretches the connective tissue as well, I believe that is the SL.

You are basically pulling your shaft down and away from your pubic bone.

Does that help?

I think he big difference and what gives you the gains is that you are reaching through your skin to get a grip below the tendons. Just pulling back from the shaft or tip isn't going to put a stretch directly on the SL.

while sitting in your chair you want to reach under your leg to grip your shaft down low. you can also use your leg by straightening it out and lowering it to apply pressure to your hands downward pressure.

Brusing and red spots are completely normal and, as Mike said, they go away in a day or 2. Some guys are much more sensitive to gripping than others. I would experiment with other grips. Maybe even try golf gloves or surgical gloves, this may help too.
