Recently I've made some very good gains in BPSFL and I've seen many guys posting topics saying that they were not gaining even though they had been following a good routine.
I've been thinking about what reasons there could be for me gaining seemingly easier/better than other guys. The main points that I've come up with are:
1) The fact that my EG is smaller than other guys that hang more. I measured it as 5" at the beginning of my progress thread but I'm sure that was inaccurate. I'd put it closer to 4.75". There have been many discussions here on the topic of the amount of increase in volume of the penis with just 0.5" of girth and what that means in relation to gaining girth. i.e. a 0.5" increase in girth no matter what the starting EG is a large increase in volume.
I have applied this theory to length and in the same way, the more girth, the harder to gain length and therefore the more weight will be needed to do so. It's pretty simple really. Since there is more tissue to stretch for a penis with more girth it makes sense to presume that it would take more weight to gain any amount of length than a penis with smaller EG. This was originally Bib's theory so I guess I'm just agreeing with what he has already said on this one.
This would mean (as Bib said) that no matter what your EG at the time of starting Penis Enlargement it makes sense to achieve your length goals first before starting on your girth routine because it is more difficult to gain length when you have a larger girth. The idea that I have about this is to put all of your energy into length in the beginning and then focus on girth after that.
2) The long set times of my hanging sessions are somehow more beneficial than the same amount of time divided up into smaller sets. At the moment I'm doing 1 hour sets at 5 lbs and 30 minute sets at 7.5 lbs. Most of the time I hang at 5 lbs though.
I'm not exactly sure why these longer sets are so much more beneficial but I thought that maybe as you hang for longer, more of the penis gradually starts to pull out than if you hung in short sets. i.e. in 30 mins a certain amount of the penis is pulled out but at 1 hour sets more becomes stretched out. So whenever you do a set at a specific weight for 30 mins the same amount of the penis will be stretched out from the base. That means that you could do three sets at 30 minutes and not acheive the same as one 60 minute set because it takes time for more of the penis to be stretched out. In other words all of the 30 minute sets would only get you to the same point whereas the 60 minute set would get you beyond that.
The result of this theory would be to either keep breaks in between short sets short in order to not allow the penis to 'recoil' or just hang in longer sets. A warning though to vice style hangers, beware of blood flow issues and stick to the advice of the vets of that style of hanging such as Bib, SWM or Prince Albert. Limit sets to the amount of time that their advice suggests and do the same for breaks in between sets.
3) Being consistent with a routine is very important IMO and the fewer days off the better. It is my opinion that sometimes a day off can set you back quite a bit so one of the main reasons that people are not gaining is that they are doing three days on a one day off as I used to without much if any success. The reason for this would be that after three days of Penis Enlargement they get to a certain level of extended length or increased girth over their usual size but then they take a day off (which really amounts to 48 hours in between routines) and IMO that puts them back 2 days in some cases. So really over 4 days they end up having 1 day of effective Penis Enlargement. In other words the 1 day off cancels out the benefits of 2 of the other days of Penis Enlargement so in the end they would end up just having 1 day of effective Penis Enlargement.
That is just not enough to make a big difference even over time. If they had not taken the day off then they would have had 4 days of effective Penis Enlargement rather than just 1. So IMO taking one day off out of every 4 is not just 1 day gone since you lose a lot of the progress that you've made in the other days also. So that 1 day off in this example equates to 3 days.
I do not subscribe to the opinion that the penis takes time to heal itself as I believe that it takes less than a day to do that and really whatever you do during the day (within reason) the penis will be able to heal over night.
This results in my belief that it is very important to take as few days off as possible and to do, at the very least, a maintenance program for Penis Enlargement everyday. What you did would obviously depend on what you were focusing on at that time.

Conclusion: So out of all this my main thoughts on how to achieve gains in length (although point 3 can be applied to girth also) at this time are work on length first and then focus on girth later. Hang, stretch or extend in long sets whenever possible baring in mind blood flow and take as few days off as possible.
For more on my personal routine look in my sig and I also have a progress picture thread up.
It might seem as if I'm jumping the gun here since I've 'only' gained 0.25" BPSFL but last night I recorded some gains that I'm really happy with. That is what spurred on this brainstorming. I'll be waiting until the 23rd April to post new pictures showing my new gains but up to now I'm amazed and I know they will be at least as good as last month.
Cheers.
