I'm diabetic, (well-under control), and I have only seen positive results from my P.E. program. I've gained as well or better than most and have had absolutely no negative side effects.
Given that, I have been extra careful when doing a strenuous routine, so that I have experienced no rupture of veins--even tiny ones--little skin discoloration, etc.
But I have also avoided pumping.
hanging, extreme clamping, etc. --maybe because subconsciously I was worried about injuring myself, what with the healing etc. But I'm a fast healer.
So you see, I only see P.E. as another way to help control your diabetes--along with proper nutrition, meds if necessary, and proper exercise.
My upper body, thighs, abdomen, lower back and groin area are definitely in better shape because of all the wild P.E. exercises I have practiced over the past three and a half years.
Good luck, pal. Don't worry!! Just be extra careful--as you would in any physical undertaking.
REMEMBER, IF YOU DON'T USE IT, YOU'LL LOSE IT!!!
