The forum seems to be roughly divided on how they Penis Enlargement. I'll use the jelq as an example since it's the most applicable. Timing a session allows for less error room. Perhaps a particular session you do rush through your jelqs, at least you are getting more of them in, right? I use time as a guide. I don't strictly adhere to it, but it's a good guide.

i've never counted, i always go by feel, when my dick feels like its had enough then i stop, well sometimes i push a little further then stop.
 
I like to use the timing method as well, but sometimes with jelqing I feel like I have to count. In some sessions I will spend more time edging than in others, or maybe I will get too hard and have to spend more time waiting for my erection to go down to 80% or 90%. So I could jelq for 20 minutes one day and 20 minutes the next day, but the number of jelqs I do may differ greatly between the two sessions for varying reasons. When I count I know exactly how many jelqs I'm doing and that I'm getting a good workout. But I agree that it is distracting.

Good point. Maybe I underestimated the variance in the timing method as well. I haven't had that problem so much, but I can see how many would.

Even so, the distraction of the counting method limits me.
 
I agree. Once I realized that a certain number of jelqs or squeezes took so long on the clock, I stopped counting. It was also VERY annoying when I lost count of how many reps I'd done.
 
I used to try and count, but like swm said, I got really pissed when I lost count which would happen all the time. I now go by time and by feel...I set a time in which I want to get my session done, and if by that time my penis does not feel worked, I continue on until it does. I believe feel is more important though but alloy is right a timed session instead of counting will most likely keep you from rushing or not getting the fullest out of your workout.
 
I have two sessions (one AM, one PM) and I count in one but not in the other. Can't say I've noticed any particular downside to either way, for me it's more about getting the right frame of mind that allows me to have good erections to work with. (Focusing on girth.)
 
When I decided to lose counting in my girth work it was liberating! I loved it and with the pre-occupation of numbers gone I was able to concentrate on what really mattered, GIRTH.
 
Dunno if I'm the only one facing this, but since recently when I started regular Penis Enlargement (very irregular before) my erection level isn't consistent everyday. Some days it's great throught out, some days it flops after about 20 jelq strokes. In the latter case I pull up the pants, get onto some other work then I get back to jelqs after 20-30 mins. Basically taking intermittent breaks to ensure an 80+% level or jelqing erection level. In the former case I use counting & also keep a track of time just in case I lose count. In the latter I don't use time or counts, just the work satisfaction ;) & fluid engorgement of the foreskin...
 
I have to count for the same reason as Integrity. I find I have to edge quite alot to keep the erection level 'up'. So I find if I count sets of 25, or if I can 33, then this gives me a guide. Maybe when I get the magic blue pill I will be able to go with time alone.
