Is the base of the penis usually thicker than the middle of shaft?

hey guys I'm Mitch, i'm 18 and was just wondering if you could tell me if men are usually thicker at the base of their penis than they are mid-shaft?

i'm 6'4 and weigh 300lbs so im pretty fat and i have a damn big fat pad, it hides at least 2 inches in length and i cant push in hard enough to see the base of my penis so its physically impossible for me to access the base so i cant measure.

i'm kinda insecure about my girth, it looks really thin, in the middle of my shaft i think i'm 4.5" when fully erect, do you think its likely i'll be thicker at the base or are all men just different?

i understand that many of u guys will be bigger than me so if you wanna make fun its cool, i can take jokes, after all im just tryna make the best of a bad hand lol.

Man I can tell u ain't anyone gonna make fun of you! Everyone is different and everyone has their own problems. Yes I think its standard to be thicker at the base than mid shaft. Some people have what they call the "baseball bat" erect. That's where its thicker at the head and tapers down at the base. Not many people seem to want that and alot try to get rid of it. I think 4.5 mid shaft is right around average. I started at 5.25 at the base so that would have put me like 4.75 or 5 mid sbaft. Its like 5.5 or a little more at the base and 5.25 mid shaft and that's after 5 months or so of pe....so 4.5 ain't to bad in my book!

Usually yes. This is because most men have a "turkey neck", the scrotal skin that is on the shaft, some skin near the base and hair on the base. That all adds to a "base girth" measurement. Men who only go by their "base girth" are kidding themselves.

Welcome! Trust me no one here will make fun of you for anything.

If anything, after you get a month or three of jelqing you may want to use your fat pad to your advantage and try pumping. Guys with a better fat pad tend to be more comfortable and get a better seal in the pump. I don't really pump anymore for my own reasons, but I personally believe pumping is best done when you're a newb because your tunica is not tough and conditioned.

Makin' the best of a bad hand is the best attitude ever, keep rolling with that and you'll be bigger in no time. Just take it slow and enjoy the process. And sure, it feels good to have gained, but we will always want more, and that's ok too. When you relax mentally and know that you can both accept and change who you are, then you truly feel great.

but is it possible to jelq wen you have quite a large fat pad? i dont know much about jelqing but the videos ive seen show the guy beginning at this base and working his way down the shaft, and as i said earlier i cant access my base due to the fat pad.

thanks man, as i said i think my fat pad conceals at least 2 inchs of penis so im optimstic about that as it would take me to about 7 inches in length which im happy with.
