However, for me to get any decent grip I have to clamp it all the way down. This ends with massive bruising each session. It's not that I have a small cock - 6.25 girth which tends to be rather full even in a flaccid state; nearly 7" length. I try to set it up about 1/2 down my cock. After a few stretches, however, the head is clearly slipping back into the device. So clamped down fully, still bruising, yet slipping?
I use sports pre-wrap and theraband setup for wrapping. It is very lightweight and comfortable. The amount of each is minimal.
So at this stage I'm not sure where to go with it. If I back off the actual stretch intensity, there is no point to it as I see it. Btw, I do 40 sec on/20 sec rest stretches. I have tried setting up in the bundle device (whatever it is called) from both entry points. Neither particularly solves the issue.
I suspect I am not the only one with this going on, so what has worked for guys?

After a 10-15 min session, I am totally pre-fatigued for hanging. The feeling is best I've ever had!
