You can use any cheap rubber or latex ring. It makes little difference. I would not invest in something expensive, just go with the cheap latex rings. They come 3 to a pack for like $20.

Only the Penis normally (as close as the pubic bone as possible), but some try to have everything fit inside (balls+penis), this is indeed the best to keep as close from the base as possible. Personally if I do this, I feel uncomfortable after a while, but worse, my stretchy cockrings break easily then (I have to stretch it too much to put everything in it).

I have tried just about everything over the years. I don't much care for the rubber rings because they pull the hairs.
