I think LENGTH is just as important as GIRTH. For me LENGTH was the main reason I was able to reach the cul de sak in JEN. If I did not have proper length I would not be able to do this. Don't get me wrong, GIRTH is the joint but both have equal importance to me.

I agree that length is also important, I was basing what I said about girth being important on what I read here about it affecting them more and surveys about it linked on here and such.

For me LENGTH was the main reason I was able to reach the cul de sak in JEN. If I did not have proper length I would not be able to do this.

But on average how much length does it take to reach that? I'm pretty sure it's different for every woman, but any length beyond that point is unneeded and would probably decrease their pleasure because of lack of contact with your body, when your skin touches theirs when you're in all the way it can stimulate their clit. I know every girl is different, but there should be some kind of average, like there generally is for us. Not that we would know what that is... or we'd know exactly what we should pe to for optimal results for both parties, we don't want to hurt them (well, some might, with some of the goals out there... but I don't want to :s ). I do not think that bottoming out is always really bottoming out. The vagina can be confusing as far as depth is concerned. The cervix is positioned in a way that many times guys think they are bottoming out when in actuality they are hitting the cervix. The cervix can be as low as 2" and as deep as 8" depending on the particular anatomy of the woman. I was with a woman who had an extremely low cervix and it was positioned in a way that made intercourse painful for her. If you look at the illustration I posted you can see that in a typical, healthy female there is depth beyond the cervix and this is where the CDS is. Getting around the cervix can take some time, practice and for allot of guys extra length. There is a definite difference is the feel of these two areas and this may be your best ammunition to where you are in the vaginal canal. The cervix feels very much like the tip of your nose as the CDS has a spongy feeling. For many women when a successful insertion happens they get the sensation that they need to pee, this is false and you should encourage them to relax and let things flow as they will quickly realize this is far from urine and reach the best possible orgasm they have ever had.

For those people interested in volume, an oval shape will have less cross-sectional area than a circle given the same circumference (girth). So by increasing width you will not be achieving the same volume for a given girth measurement.

Of course the difference isn't all that much. :s
