That is so true brother DLD. Most artists are bipolar and it's the artists who introduce the new and the radical into society often with anarchist social statements to stoke the flames that burn against injustice. Yeah, I stare at that painting everyday in this depression and wonder how the heck I did it when I can't even sketch a tiny picture today. This disorder is such a thief and so deceptive, it robs the one who suffers of all good. This painting is one piece and 9 feet by 3 feet, kind of unbelievable that I did it....

It's the larger pieces like this one that make it into the history books. I know you will paint again just like I know that I will play and write music for piano again. life is cyclical and comes back around again so I guess knowing that, can help one to prepare for the next coming cycle, be it depression or mania.doublelongdaddy;598561 said:

Like you, I can not play nor write music while I am depressed. It just takes it all out of me and I have no energy left to do much of anything. I have written poetry while depressed, but it all comes out sounding negative, so I don't even do that anymore. Maybe you could take advantage of your next manic cycle and do another big painting. That way after many manic high energy cycles, you will have tons of big paintings worth lots of money.
The biggest thing I miss in this depression is my art, the girls I paint give me so much happiness and joy. It amazes me that when I am in the right state these women are effortless, single strokes with such passion in comparison to my depressed state that I can't even sketch a face without it looking wrong. I am going to ask for another show towards the end of this month to put the pressure on me to work again, this always helps me get back into practice.

I started using drugs few years ago one day i got crazy haha and the doctor gave me propanolol along whit some other medication but yeah most of the symptoms above

I tried banning Threak-X but I didn't see the option. He seems to have hacked the forum. He is a failure and he is venting his anger on DLD. But I'm sure I will hear from DLD this week.
