Any Advice on Counteracting Side Effects from Avodart?

I've been taking Avodart for two years now to shrink my prostate, which keeps growing just like my dick. Yeah, guys!! Your prostate keeps growing as you get older.

The Avodart is working wonders, so says my Urologist, reducing the old prostate which had grown to two and a half times the normal size.

But my ejaculate is water clear and not very thick. I mentioned it to my urologist who looked at me like I was crazy to worry about such a "minor inconvenience." I'm sure he's thinking, "It could be a lot worse, buddy, i.e. advanced prostate cancer etc.

But it IS bothering me when I ejaculate. I"m used to a milky gusher. The Mrs. thinks it's great--less of a mess, I guess. I'd appreciate any advice here on how to increase the amount and consistency of my ejaculate.

So is this a side effect from having a bigger prostate your sperm will become more watery, I thought kegels are supposed to enlarge the prostate so i have read weather it is true or not.

I had a problem with my sperm coming out all watery but it depends on what you eat i think or maybe the testicle health massage could of help some.

I think it depends what you eat i have notice a difference i think from eating loads of fruit and salad and drinking orange juice and all the different pure fruit juice and plenty of water.

Maybe doing all these kegels could have cause the watery effect then?

I doubt it very much, Pandora. Not to worry!! I had no problem with watery ejaculate when I started doing the kegels and that was quite a while before I was put on this med. In fact, the kegels have made my ejaculations stronger. It's just that they're like pure water. I'm sure it's the med. It's in the medical literature as one of the side effects.

If I'm not mistaken, the ejaculate is produced by the prostate and not the testicles.

Yeah but i have read that kegel enlarge the prostate so this could be kinda mimicking what is happening to you with the meds or maybe i don't know what i am talking about and i worry to much but i have gone though a phase where my sperm was how you say watery and i did not like it.

But then i started eating stuff and it fix it somewhat i wanna get peter north loads again tho

But i use to get massive and thick loads when i was younger and when i was taking Vig rx for about 5 or 6 months and got them pills in my system i had huge loads.

So does having and irregular large prostate effect sperm then?

No, P. I don't think the two are connected. The prostate tissue just keeps growing as you get older. It has nothing to do with kegeling, I'm almost positive. The kegeling would just make that muscle stronger.

The prostate tissue enlargement is caused by the same hormone that causes hair loss. The med. they put me on reduces the production of this hormone. It also causes hair loss. I'm not hairy, so who the fuck cares, right? Most of my chest hair is gone since I started taking the med. And the hair on the top of my head disappeared quite a few years ago.



But I will try the V G X? Can I get it in a health food store? I'm a health food nut so I eat lots of good food--i.e. fruits and vegetables. I wonder if that video is the Peter North of today? Yeah, I'd love to bust a nut like that too.

I don't think an enlarged prostate affects your sperm count either. If it did, these old farts would not be impregnating these younger babes, right?
