As I'm now 'old' to the dating scene, leaving my mid-thirties, I want to diffuse misconceptions about what's attractive to women, why, and why older men MAY display more of this, IF they haven't gone with the misconceptions that society and others have placed on them.

What is the genetic value that men and women receive from having a mate?

A male will feel more attracted - attracted, not necessarily meaning the same thing as who they'd like or prefer - but they will feel more immediate primal attraction for a female with these qualities
