Hey, I just recently started up a supplement regimen. I'm currently taking a multi-vitamin, fish oil, flax seed, calcium, vitamin D, C, and B-12, a long with loose green tea.

I plan not to take the multi-vitamin everyday because I only take one before work for energy. My question is should I take the other stuff seven days a week for the rest of my life? Or should I take breaks from the supplements, such as 5 days on 2 off?

Can my body get used to taking the supplements, or is there a particular vitamin I should take breaks from and ones that can be used every single day? Your help will be much appreciated, I'm having trouble finding info on this subject. I just got one of those weekly pill organizers too so I would like to know which ones I can take daily. Thank you

Religion, politics & supplements; the three subjects on MOS GUARANTEED to stir up some major shit!
I'm an advocate of C, entire B group and a few others.
Mostly it's a matter of preference; search for dietary supplements and just wade through the staggering amount of data out there.

One thing most healthy males should NEVER take is iron; it's been linked to soooo many cancers and health problems for men it ain't funny.

www.mercola.com has got a lot of good info and he's a Doctor that fully believes true health starts from the inside.

Thanks Maxameyes and sizerp for sharing this valuable information. I didn't know loading up on too much iron and calcium was bad for you that's crazy. I'm so glad you guys told me because I was going to take the calcium tabs everyday. Maxameyes it's good to hear that your an advocate of vitamin B and C. What brand of B and C do you recommend, and how much should I take?

Right now I'm using a generic brand of C and B-12 just to finish it up. You guys have been a big help already, when posting I knew I was going to learn something. Thank you and keep the posts coming.

I buy the majority of my junk through:
www.vitacost.com
they have their own brand, used to be NSI-not sure of the business aspects of that deal, but I think I'm gonna switch from fish oil to Dr. Mercola's brand of krill oil. Heard lotsa good things about it.

Thanks Maxameyes and DLD for bumping the thread. My bones thank you for that article sizerp =). Any info on your diet routine Sizerp? That krill oil in general sounds good to try thanks Max. I searched on amazon for dr. Mercola krill oil and it was pricey with only one bad review. I'm probably going to take the omega 3s every day, and cut out the calcium tablets.

Does anyone know a good brand of vitamin B and C? I was thinking about Nutrilite B complex, but I will do some research on google. Any other valuable tips on supplements will be much appreciated. Thanks for the links guys, this is great stuff lets keep this thread alive.

If you're really interested in nutrition remember that FOOD is still your best source all around. Supplements are just that: supplements, to shore up any nutrition your diet might lack.
While you're researching pills see which foods best provide for your need. Yeah, some can get pricey, but all in all eating right is just plain right.

And you just can't beat fresh fruits and veggies!

Just got my green tea and tea brewer in the mail yesterday. Here's the links if you want to check it out.

green tea - http://www.amazon.com/Davidsons-Tea...TIFA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1306501864&sr=8-2

infuser - http://www.amazon.com/Adagio-Teas-1...N8TK/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1306501931&sr=8-3

Yesterday I brewed my first cup to have with my daily bowl of oatmeal :). Some reviews I read about the tea said it tasted like dirt. Never have drank loose tea before I imagined it might be nasty. This tea had a very pleasant taste, it was lighter than I thought, you just taste water with a hint of green tea. My eq was also through the roof yesterday for some reason.

After coming out of the SG for 3 hours I was very horny through out the day. I just ended up edging twice and had to cum lol. Going to have my second cup today I'll let you know how it goes. There could be something to this green tea stuff a long with pe.

A type of "pre-meat".

Oh, OK! So beef is not a vegetable? I mean I know cheese is a vegetable but I though beef was a vegetable too. Wow, so those cows up the street are not growing out of the ground? Man I missed that bus!

Well....kinda; it takes shitloads of vegetables over months and months to make a cow. So, by the time it reaches our grills we are, in one yummy fukkin' meal, eating months and months worth of veggies. So beef is a vegetable concentrate!

And since cow farts destroy the ozone layer AND produce greenhouse gasses I say that eatin' those big fat-ass cud-chooin' bastards is both a health investment AND a public service.

So, to all the vegetarians of the world:Fuck you! get off yer asses and save the planet.
Grill Bossie now.
