What keeps you from breaking out, when you shave against it? I've tired it, and honestly, it's the only way I can get a good shave.....but 2 days later.......red bumps.....and PE is out of the question! I'd really like to be able to do it!

I honestly don't know, maybe I'm just lucky. I really try to shave every day too. If I go too long without shaving my pubic area can have 8-10 cuts by the time I'm done. When that happens I'll get a couple little bumps in addition to the cuts but they don't bother me.

When I was in the Marine Corps a lot of black guys would get medical permission to not shave because of the razor bumps (it'd have to be really bad though). One day a guy who had been in for 18 years said he used to get bumps really bag and was forced to keep shaving. He said his skin got used to it after a while. Not sure if I believed him though because all his "I was banging this real slut one time" stories all sounded like they came from Penthouse Forum or he was replaying a scene in his head and telling us it was him.

Back on topic....Once I get dried off (and stop bleeding when I cut myself) I apply a little Gold Bond powder to everything. My scrotum has always hung very low and sticks to my legs all the time unless I use Gold Bond. Maybe powdering helps keep the razor burn at bay, I dunno.

I will melt wax, rub it into the skin and that will protect the skin from burning. You take a lighter and very quickly burn the hair away. I would not go lower than 1/4" or it may burn the skin but for the most part the wax will avoid this. It is something I have done in the past and I was just putting it pout there. If done right it is safe and effective. But I would use other methods that are safer.

This is how I read this post -

"This one time I said 'Hold my beer and watch this!' and while I came out okay you might not."

Lol

Ohhhhh...........I thought you were meaning, an alternative to shaving........that's would be more an alternative to trimming! Now I see!! I just couldn't see how you could safely burn it off, down to the skin! LMAO! Sorry about that!

I guess she could do my manscaping during the refractory period while I'm eating a sandwich ;)

that's the plan, lol I had her using an 18" toy on herself while giving me a 'happy ending'...pretty fun and I got lots of compliments on my haircut :)

How much did that cost?

I used to do my whole body. Melt bees wax, work it into the skin and using a lighter quickly burn back all the hair. Smooth as silk and the wax is so moisturizing, it leaves the skin feeling great.

All-in, it was $160 Canadian and it included a 30 minute massage...pretty good 'value' in my book

The reality of it is that you're not paying her for what she does, you're paying for her to leave you alone after lol.

If the massage, haircut, and manscaping were all of excellent quality then I can see that being worth paying for. I had a professional massage once (she had gone to the olympics in Utah as a massuse for the athletes and was amazing) and it was $45 USD for 30 minutes. I was so relaxed after that the house could've been burning down around me and I would've just sat there smiling. There was no happy ending either.

Was there a sad ending? :)

lol, good one!

If I ever go to a non-happy ending massuse again I'm taking my wife so I can at least get a happy ending in the car on the way home :D

lol I missed this one :)

Me too, at first! It showed a bit later for me, there seemed to be a small delay for me. Could had been my connection.

Laser was mentioned. Most expensive of the methods and several visits are still needed. I am not so familiar or well-known about pubic hair removal with laser, but surely it's done.
If one has the funds for it, why not. Don't know do they zap hair follicles from balls as well and is that how safe, considering reproductivity. Nothing to it, I guess.

I personally feel shaving isn't such a bad thing, even though you have to do it quite often. At my current rate I'm doing a shave every other day. This for me seems to keep my skin in decent condition, no big break-outs.
I've also added Shea Butter to my skin care regime, seems to be pretty good stuff what I can say so far!
Doesn't make my hair very shiny though, where as I would prefer some shine. But then again I feel where I am staying right now has a bit harder water.
Coconut oil was my go-to, but I noticed it clogging my pores, so I discontinued the use of it. Internally I might still have it from time to time.

Rambling ... For best skin comfort maybe just the shortest setting on a beard clipper as mentioned before. Really depends about one's skin type. I'd also pay attention to what kind of product you're using for shaving. Shaving soap / stick is what I suggest.

And if shaving be sure to use Hydrocortisone after, it will save you a world of discomfort and irritation.

I wish I could do Lazer removal. Girl I used to know had it done and said it was pure heaven.

Unfortunately I never got to check it out. We knew that we probably wouldn't of worked as a couple but had agreed that we'd go at it a few times if we were both single at the same time. In the few years I knew her we couldn't make it happen :(

She also wanted to have sex with one of my sisters but said she'd only have sex with one of us, not both, and she had no preference as to which one of us she got (she was truly bisexual). My sister politely declined lol.
