discolor/beauty Laser for Discoloration? And DMSO

Did a couple test patches today. Based on how it felt I'm not expecting results with discoloration, but who knows. It felt like a slight prickling/burning. Nothing too intense. I'm just imagining that if it were actually targeting skin cells that it would be more painful.

Also it was difficult to get it to work. The thing has a censor on it which won't work if the skin is too dark. I had to move it around just right to get it to work because apparently the skin is borderline too dark for it to work. It also automatically decreases the intensity significantly if the skin is dark, which sucks.

So anyway, I'll wait a few days and see what happens. At the least I hope it gets the hair.

did u get any small dark red spots from the burning sensations? i also wonder why it has a censor for skin that's too dark

well anyway thank u for testing, maybe there will be results in a few days

one thing i want to correct is that my discoloration mostly at middle shaft is from early childhood circ. actually it's not the BM

in fact i've had a couple of BM sessions where i got really bad dark red spots discoloration around the middle shaft and they actually hardened and turned into white new skin spots after healing. but it was only a few times and not enough to repair all the original dark discoloration and i can't remember how i triggered the redness, i know in part because of fluid retention but i also get fluid retention all other times and no redness

anyway keep us updated

No I didn't. And I think to prevent damaging the skin.

So I'm 99% sure this is not gonna do anything for discolouration. Tried it a couple times now and no indication of anything happening with the skin... sucks. I'm not even sure anything is happening with the hair, but we'll see.

I looked up lasers specifically for discolouration and one that comes up specifically for hemosiderin staining is the Q-Switched Ruby Laser. Not something you can buy for home use unfortunately, but if anyone would wanna try that out at a local clinic that would be cool.

I guess I'm on to apple cider vinegar for now. Too paranoid to use DMSO on a regular basis.

Maybe it will take more time? Kind of a let down :( Well there is still the alpha hydroxy idea.

I doubt it. It's been a few days since the first time I used it and nothing happened. I don't think it's like creams where it fades over time. From what I read about it it should be intense and cause the skin to peel soon after.

I wouldn't count out lasers just because of this though... it's just not the right kind. Also, technically what I have (IPL) isn't actually a laser.

"Well there is still the alpha hydroxy idea."

Yes... or TCA (trichloroacetic acid) peels, which I've done in the past and which work. I would do one now, however it takes like a week to peel and then at least another month or so of down time before more PE to let it heal, so I don't want to do that yet.

I think my next test will be this stuff:

The Ordinary | Alpha Lipoic Acid 5% - 30ml

There's some talk at thunder's about ALA chelating iron and being good for the skin. So I think I'll give it a go.

Keep on digging Mick, it is worth the effort!

I'm gonna buy ALA and niacinamide from The Ordindary (linked above). Reviews on here of which of their products is good for what:

https://beautyeditor.ca/2017/08/04/the-ordinary

Never heard of The Ordinary before, but they make some pretty potent skin care stuff. I looked them up on reddit briefly and reviews were pretty solid. Also it's extremely cheap stuff.

So, niacinamide has been shown to be almost as effective as hydroquinone for treating hyperpigmentation which is pretty crazy. So I'm hoping that it will work, while also doing ALA 3x per week.

This will be after I do a peel with TCA. Discolouration is so bad now that I think a peel is necessary first. I think heavy girth work is done for me. Unfortunately I'm way too prone to discolouration. Not sure what to do from here for girth.

Hey Mick!

Thanks for those suggestions, I ordered some nicinamide and other stuff, very intriguing stuff! Mostly I'll use stuff on my face though. No problems with discoloration for now, but I'm on my way to ultrasound next week, it's possible that I have varicole. :-/

Anyway, keep us posted about those products, I'll also chime in how I find them in use.

I will. It'll be a while though before I can say anything... at least a couple month. Will do the peel and then apply this stuff afterwards for extra benefit cause the peel doesn't get all of it.

For anyone with discolouration I think niacinamide is a good choice to test out. Almost as effective as hydroquinone!

Hydroquinone is powerful stuff, so that's a pretty incredible result. Also the stuff in the study is 4%. This stuff is 10%.

This is getting exciting I hope more Brother get involved.

Did my peel treatment. My cock looks disgusting but it'll peel off soon. Hopefully done in a week or two. Then niacinamide and ALA.
