New Circumcision-Trend in Europe

I was cut last year and just realized that the circumcision was done overly tight which causes some problems now during erections. Some guys here made me wonder whether my sexlife would still be as well as it is now a few years down the road with my tight circ and my removed frenulum.

I was browsing through some german websites and found many "fan-clubs" circumcision-promoting forums and homepages such as circlist.de but not one single anti-circ or restorer homepage in my country. The reason is easy. Only 2 percent of germans were cut until now,but as I found out,every fourth man between 16 and 20 went to an urologist for a circumcision during the last two years. My own reason for it was my phimosis but these guys do it for two reasons(my opinion):


1. Its part of the fashion to be fully shaved and pierced. Body-modifications are just hip among my generation and its cool to have a branding,or a circumcision-scar and a bunch of piercings through your glans. Everything that is NOT natural is cool in Germany,such as green or purple hair and stuff like that. Circumcision is NOT natural and fits pretty good in this new fashion.
And a Prince Albert is not possible(or visible) when hidden under a layer of skin.

2. Circumcision is common in the USA and the USA has always been a trend setter for everything that was cool and hip. Germany gets every trend from the USA sooner or later. Kids dress the same way as americans and our idols are Eminem and Britney not some german singers..

Thats my theory. I was glad and happy with my circ,even though I didn't follow a trend but just listened to the Doc and let him do what he felt was in my best interest,but Iam not sure what to think anymore.

A trend and a fashion lasts for only a few years,but all these boys who get their skin and frenulum removed,just to fit this trend have probably never thought about the whole thing,just like I didn't spend any time thinking about it until now. Once they are cut,they will be amputies forever even if the next generation finds it hip to have a long foreskin again... Maybe we will have a bunch of restoring guys and the same anti-circ movement in Germany in 10 years as you guys have it in the US now? Every trend here follows the USA. Do all people make the same mistakes all over the world?

The doctor removed around 3.5 inches of inner and outer forskin and the frenulum and left nearly nothing. That was definately wrong. I wonder if that Doc was stupid or just mean to do that?

Well... I live in the US, I've very patriotic and love my country very much but it is kinda disheartening to think that people do the same stupid stuff as the US when they see teens who don't know what they are doing/talking about do it... I was never one of the "cool and hip" crowd because I just didn't understand things like the reason to wear your pants off your butt.

Anyway, I was circ'ed when I was a baby, didn't know any different until MUCH later in life, I thought I was natural. I always wondered why it felt like my penis wanted to rip through my skin though...

I'm sorry to hear that you think he took too much off, but don't dismay because it is possible to get some back, over time. Also, it does sound like you did it for a good cause, and not "just because". I'm not trying to FR but it is happening as a side effect of Penis Enlargement. I actually like it myself and am happy about it.

I was in the us on vacation two years ago and saw the guys wearing their pants off their butts. Now two years later my younger brothers force my mom to pay a fortune to buy them just these pants. US rules and we follow. That was good in many ways,but will it be good when it comes to circumcision? Is it common in America for guys to be completly hairless and shaved?? Cause that is hip here. You won't find a hair on any guy younger than myself and Iam already 25 and only trimmed not shaved. Iam not sure but that trend probably came from the new world aswell.Noel

Good to see you back. I imagine that the doctor was just doing what other young men had been requesting, albeit for fashion, - a high and tight. So it probably wasn't stupidity or meanness, just ignorance and/or thoughtlessness. The good news is that you can loosen up your circ relatively quickly, which will alleviate the tightness and the bend, without covering the glans. You can decide later if you'd like to get your hood back or not.

The main difference as far as satisfaction goes seems to be between loose cut and tight cut guys. That is what I gather from what I have heard doing this FR thing for a long while now. I started out very, very tight cut and was extremely dissatisfied with my sex life and my penis for most of my life. I did not know why until I discovered FR. Now that I have grown enough shaft skin to be considered "loose cut", I am much happier and am currently enjoying a level of pleasure that I had not know previously, a level at which I could be perfectly satisfied with now for the rest of my life. I am going to continue on until I have flaccid coverage of the glans, but for reasons that are more philosophical than physical... well, for now, anyway... don't know what I will encounter as I restore further because I never had the chance to experience sex as an intact man. Take my advice and when you are completely healed from the circumcision, get that skin stretched out a little until it is at least loose. I think you'll be more satisfied then.

Don't be upset with what happened or what you hear from us, tho. Just keep in mine that circumcision is actually pretty reversible. It takes time and patience, but most men who got circed in adulthood, and restored because they were unhappy with it, say that they were able to get pretty much back to original specs with skin expansion techniques. Keep that in mind and there is actually nothing to be upset about at all.

Yeah, the Doc probably did what most young guys ask him for-a very tight and high circ-style. Well mine is too tight,because my penis was never curverd down like a banana,until he removed the frenulum and the skin from the buttom. I had too much foreskin-no doubt-but cutting off two inches would have done the job aswell. It wasn't necessary to cut off everything to the point oft having no skin left to cover an erection. That was pretty thoughtless of the doc,I think.

I can understand being unhappy with an overly long or tight foreskin that will not retract. I think it is kind of odd that a doctor would think a tight circumcision is an appropriate fix for your previous condition, tho... My goal with FR is full flaccid coverage of the glans. I want enough skin to protect the glans when not in "use" and also for added stimulation during intercourse via the skin gliding up and down over the head with my thrusts. Like I said, I was cut very tight and it sucked. Curved penis. Balls pulled up the shaft. Etc. You have plenty of time to decide what you want, tho. Enjoy your new look and feel, but be honest with yourself and also make sure you do some research and learn all you can about it. It's your body to do with as you will, and you shouldn't feel pressured from any "side" of this debate on what is right for you. We all have our opinions. The best thing you can do is educate yourself and be true to your own feelings, whether you like being cut and want to stay that way or whether you truly regret your decision and want to go back. Don't be afraid to say what you think, and do what makes you happy!

I don't think I want all of my skin back so it would cover the skin again. But I need some skin back to release the pressure during erections. Yeah and what Kong said about the balls pulling up the shaft, the same shit happens during my hardons now. That really sucks. I hope jelq and stretches will make the skin loser with timer. Problem is, right now the circ is so overly tight,that it is impossible to move or stretch it whatsoever. So how do I start to stretch it ? That ointment does not help yet. Plus it is made from female hormons and I hate to apply that stuff. Maybe ist will bring my testosteron level down and make my dick smaller or crap like that?
