You have to distinguish between active and passive gains/PE.

When you never had any or only very little PE experience you could wear those devices and make gains without any manual PE, ofc it would always be wise to do at least some - some stretches to return good circulation, bundled stretches at the very beginning and some bundled erect stretches a few times a week.

After you've gained an inch or two or even before that, you can look at those devices in a passive state, where you use them to keep yourself elongated so that your penis can heal in that state and gains can happen so much quicker.
That's probably what a lot of guys overlook with SG and PF
 
With an extender only? Never heard of it. That's after being around this stuff since 1999. Now, with exercises and hanging sure. I suggest taking it an inch at a time though.
 
2 inches of extra dick is a HUGE imrovement. if I did not plateau for 2 inches I would be freaking ecstatic

The SizeGenetics and Phallosan will allow for a 2" gain, even more but it makes better sense to utilize the tools with complimentary exercises to gain faster. I gained 4 inches in length but it happened with a broad variety of exercises, routines and tools. I suggest you read through the SRT Thread as it will help you understand these tools better and give you specific instructions to a fabulous routine.

I've gained 2.25 inches from using only the length master. Bundled stretches in my opinion will bring gains faster especially when you do it with the length master and then you wear a SiliStretcher afterwards.
