Hey! Old member returning, for a while at least, from a several month long absence. Anyone still remember me (the guy who habitually whined about not gaining in spite of his efforts.. that should ring a bell. LMAO )?

I've been thoroughly enjoying my time off from Penis Enlargementing. If there's one thing I've come to realize in retrospect, it's that Penis Enlargementing was causing me more harm than good. It distorted my self view via the unnecessary trials I put myself through on my quest to gain more size. In effect, I was creating a problem where one didn't exist in the first place, i.e. putting myself down for having a perfectly good size to begin with, and desperately trying to fix something that didn't necessarily need improvement to being with.

I guess Penis Enlargement doesn't sit well with everyone. Some guys gain easy and fast, and reap the benefits, but if the process gest dragged out and you don't really see any noticable changes over a span of 2 years, you have to start thinking about whether you're doing yourself any favors by continuing on with it.

Another thing I noticed was that as soon as I took some distance from MoS, the pressure to be bigger started to ease up. If you don't have a point of comparison (or in this case, a forum full of guys who are hung like horses) that dwarfs you and makes you feel inferior, you can breathe more easily and not feel bad about yourself. Don't get me wrong, this is a great place to hang out and I have really come to respect many people here, but for me, this kind of environment isn't healthy. I could just as well log on to a pro-bodybuilding site with the juiced up genetic elite bb crowd, and start beating myself up over not being able to live up to their acheivements. It's all about creating a problem where a problem ain't. At least in my case, since I have a good size (according to my personal standards) as it is.
Speaking of bodybuilding, I'm still making great progress, both in strength and muscle size. I'm still sticking to HST, as it seems to work better than any other program out there for the natural lifter.

One more thing: Penis Enlargement IS permanent, at least for the most part. I havent' done any Penis Enlargementing for a few months, and I've only lost some flaccid size, and perhaps a small amount of EL. I still have around 6.9" BPenis EnlargementL and 5.3" EG, which seems to be cemented, and that's all I need.

It would be cool to hear what everyone has been up to in my absence, though!

I understand were you are coming from, as everytime we enter MOS there is undoubtably someone bigger than you... if it's not length, it's girth, .. then the guys that are 'king of the hill' will see someone else with better (so they think) veins... and it goes round and round.

I am not worried with my size anymore.. im 6" nbp and 5.1" girth... not huge, though not small.

I was always like.. okay im only 5 ft6" taller (or a tad more), and girls would expect me to have a small dick.

But i am happy with my size now.. even though i keep working on girth.. im not phased. I just do that now cause i have some spare time.

I hurt my shoulder playing footy, so i can go to the gym for the next lil while as it hurts like hell. I am still playing footy as the X-rays showed it wasnt cracked, but after the game i either A) drink or B) have pain killers.

I remember about a year ago mate, that you were always saying that no matter how are you go at Penis Enlargement you were finding it hard to gain past a certain point. Though i always knew your passion was lied with the dum bells!

I want to get back into the gym again, as when i was 17 ( 5yrs ago), i could bench 100kg and i only wieghed 62kg. im 22 now and wiegh 61.. so 5 years on i have lost 1kg.... cause i was a bit smaller in height back then i rekon i have lost a fair few KG's of muscle and strength!.

I can only bench like 80kg now. Ive only been to the gym about 10 times in the last 3 years, so i guess that is to be expected. Still im no weakling.. my strength must be genetics or sumthing.

.. Shafty, are you going to be posting here more often again mate? ... as I do miss reading your fitness threads...

I too stoped Penis Enlargement for about 4 months a little while back, it felt good, though as i have grown sumwhat attached to MOS, when ever i just on a PC, im always like "hrmm i wonder what the guys are posting today".. or "I wonder what �naked people movies� pics DLD and the fellas have added today" hehe.


Though I think MOS is more that just a place we come to learn how to make our cocks bigger, it is a place each of us can voice or troubles/joy in life. We all want to help each other out, which is what you have done for so many of us.

So there is a big differnce in quiting Penis Enlargement to quitting MOS.

I'm happy to hear you've also reached a point where your dick size isn't the one thing in your life that makes or breaks your self view. Not that you have anything to be concerned about, either: you have a very good size now. I hear what you're saying about growing attatched to MoS, though. I did start to miss the crowd, so I had to pop back in to see what everyone has been up to. It's more than just a Penis Enlargement forum, after all. It is a melting pot of new ideas and life's wisdom. Really, you do learn something every time you log on, whether it's just reading the debates on the world's issues, or a more concrete matter, like getting advice on fitness and bodybuilding (or Penis Enlargementing). Thanks for saying that, btw (about me having been of help). It's good to hear I have been able to be of some help to peeps with my bodybuilding and nutrition related ravings. I usually whine more than I help out, but I don't need to do that anymore, now do I? :D

But yeah, I'm much more passionate about making progress in bodybuilding (it's easy for me to say that, since I can make steady, measurable progress at a constant rate with lifting). I'd better be, if I plan on becoming a personal trainer someday. :D

I'll try and check back more often now that I'm on vacation, and have more free time. Again, it was good seeing you. Keep in touch!
 
Hey Shafty nice to hear from ya bud. I read your post and I totally understand what you said, some of it rings true to me too.

I do have one question tho. What is HST?? Is that a type of weighttraining program? If so could you give me some details? Ive been looking for a good program to follow.

Razednegative, I'd recommend you start off with a conventional split program if you're a rookie in weight lifting. The reason for this is that the further you progress, the shorter the so called anabolic timeframe that follows a workout will be. This means that your body's anabolic state (involving a myriad of factors, such as elevated protein synthesis and testosterone levels etc) that you get from lifting will initially last for a good time, I've heard of estimates of 75 hours or so, during which your body will build muscle effectively. If you've been lifting for a year or more, though, the anabolic state lasts a shorter time, no more than 48 hours, give or take a few. Most regular split programs hit each muscle group once a week (or once every 8 days or fewer.. it depends on the program) with high volume, which also has its perks, but you'll just be wasting valuable time being in an anti catabolic (or catabolic, if you don't eat enough) state for the major part of the week if you've trained for some time and you only keep on hitting each muscle group at infrequent intervals. It may sound like I'm rambling :D, but to sum it up, HST should only be given a shot once you have 'maxed out' your initial phase of fast and long lasting growth, which every rookie lifter will experience, given a sound nutrition plan and some serious lifting.

BDS, don't sweat it man! I know windows can be a tricky piece of shit. Mine just had a major meltdown, and it took me a week to get it back up and running. In fact, I got so fed up with the whole system that I decided to install Linux strictly for browsing the web, downloading, and listening to music, and windows just for gaming. I'm getting so sick and tired of having to reinstall it 5 times a year, so I'm hoping it'll last longer when I'm not using it for browsing or downloading at all.

Penguinsfan, I was originally supposed to go on a trip to Cali for a couple of weeks at the start of summer, but I'm lacking in the funds department, so that plan had to be put on ice for some time at least. It would be great to get a chance to visit the States again, though! I can't wait for my next window of opportunity to come on over.
How about you, are you still planning on doing your tour of Europe some time?

Oh yeah, Red, sorry that I couldn't find that arm blaster workout I promised for you. If you're still interested, I could try and dig up something else, though.

I too have had some significant fundage issues lately and won't have the money for at least a while yet. Had a couple of setbacks and stuff. But I've thought about you every now and then since I often think about how bad I need a good, memorable vacation. Hopefully, things will pick up as I'm looking for a much better job.

It's coming. I took a week off last week because of midterms and my fiancée being in town, but I'll be back at it tonight. Numbers are coming up, you can see a few recent workouts in my progress log (in my sig). A week ago I was up to 192 lbs from 179 when I started. Very little fat gain so far. :)
 
Man, I"m a little under 7 inches now NBP (6.875), but 5 and a quarter at the base now in girth! That my friend is from strictly hanging! It's good to see you on here again Shafty.

Definite plans. All thought out. Actually, drinking and general partying has been practiced a few times over the years. :D Hooking up with European chicks would be an entirely new experience, unless you want to count the Ukrainian chick I hammered good last year. Anyway, I certainly look forward to the day when I get a chance to hangout in your part of the world. Congrats on your ability to play the "American" routine. Use whatever works and run with it.

Good to be back, btw, although it feels like I never truly left (especially since all of you still remember me). I'll definitely spend some time in the BB section at the very least (and also here in Deep Thoughts), and try my best not to let the pressure to start Penis Enlargementing again get to me.

Seriously though, very kind of you to say that, and I must say (and I'm not saying this because I feel the need to return the compliment) you have always been one of the members who I respect the most at MoS. Outspoken, VERY intelligent, yet still down to earth. I was reading through some of the threads here in Deep Thoughts, in which you had posted, and then it dawned on me why I always felt compelled to return back to MoS when I had been away... even if Penis Enlargement isn't my thing any longer, the people and debates here are worth coming back to. It's like a quick fix on debates on all the major issues of the world in one single place, so it also saves some trouble not having to browse through a multitude of forums. Besides, this place seems to draw intelligent people such as yourself like a magnet, so there's always something worth reading through and partaking in.

About my absence; I took some distance from MoS for a reason- to give myself a break at least in one area of my life. I'm always pushing myself and I can be very self critical, so I started to feel this angst building up a couple of months ago, right before I left, when I did some thinking on my efforts at Penis Enlargement and why I wasn't getting anywhere. It felt like I needed some time off of the whole Penis Enlargement scene (perhaps even a permanent end to my efforts) to give myself some breathing space. It worked, and I'm happier now. I may still do an occasional quick tug or ULI, but I doubt I'll want to put myself through the bullshit I did for the past 2 years in an effort to actually gain more size, not to mention set new goals for myself (particularily since I fell short of all my previous ones). I think it's better this way.

Things have been OK for the most part... I've been feeling less stressed out than usual, not having to worry about Penis Enlargementing, and also since I'm on vacation.
I remember you saying that you had also quit Penis Enlargementing. How do you feel about that choice in retrospect, if I may ask? And what was your primary reason for quitting? Just out of curiosity... :)
