Hi,

The DLD Beginner Routine suggest the following for Kegels:

100 quick kegel squeezes'
50 hold for 5 secs and release for 2 secs.

I have never done kegels properly and I am going to start doing these now.

I also noticed there wasn't a reverse kegel routine in the DLD Beginner Routine . I would like a beginner reverse kegel routine as well to complement this and balance things out.

Thanks.

I suggest doing your kegel routine in the morning and your RK routine in the evening (or the other way around). That way you'd keep the balance and still get to strengthen you PC. You can do the same RK routine as the one you do for kegels... :)

Just to clarify, when trying to isolate the muscles used in a Reverse Kegel, its the ones used when I try to take a shit or fart lol right?

Doing 100 quick RKs seems to be a little harder than 100 Kegels.

A reverse kegel is the muscle movement used to stop the flow of urine.

Yeah dude same here?! Every site that teaches guys how to do kegels says that the muscles used to do a regular kegel are the same that are used to stop your flow of urine mid-stream. That would mean a reverse kegel is what we do when we piss, shit or fart. Someone please clarify?

Dld probably had a slip of the pen (or the keyboard I guess).

ive been doing Ks and RKs throughout the day when im working but its hard to concentrate when im busy and doing heavy lifting and stuff. im working on doing a kegel as i breathe in then reverse kegel when i breathe out, im hoping to get so used to doing this that ill just do it without thinking about it lol

Eventually, as you continue to do them everywhere you can, they will become a subconscious exercise that you will not even realize you are doing them. I find myself doing them in all different scenarios with out even trying. Music especially, with each beat I find myself getting a squeeze in.

Just use this it's best for kegels. It's the best.
