What I found, in all seriousness, it had very little to do with what I ate, it had everything to do with being below my daily caloric intake. I mainly ate protein and some dairy and a vegetable drink. It was a very boring year but I did lose the weight.

Thats great. Your caloric intake has a lot to do with gaining and losing weight because we burn calories constantly without thinking and you need to be on a caloric deficit to lose weight

You have to ask the right question.

If you got cancer or cut off a limb you'll lose weight like crazy, doesn't mean it's healthy, the same goes for eating less, it isn't a healthy thing to do.

When mike fasts its because he's a Cristian person and that's why its good for him. You're just saying that to justify your gluttony because you've never known what its like to sacrifice like mike has. That's because you've never needed anything since you live with mom weeb

Yes it is healthy to do. Why would it be unhealthy?

I pretty much kept all of my muscle mass, no real loss or gain but if I hit the gym for a month I will get in all back. Healthy or not healthy, I lost the weight and that is what matters most to me, not so much how I did it. I just had my physical and I am in great shape. I think a lot of bullshit is involved with what is good or bad as far as dieting goes, the shit changes every other day, this is good, no, now it is bad. My whole life this diet, that diet and every other had completely contradictory systems and opinions on what is good or bad. All bullshit in my mind, be sure your caloric intake is below your normal threshold and try to keep the diet mainly protein based.

Yes, this is why I eat once a day. This is for Jesus and the hopes my prayers have greater meaning and outcomes.

That's fine. The only thing you want to watch out for is if you fluctuate too much because acid can be a problem.

I have done this for many years and have been just fine. I really believe people put too much importance on food, it is simply energy. Americans in particular eat way too much but that is up to them. I will keep my fast in place in love for my Lord.

It's a total myth, you will never really figure out how much you really ate.
And you do not want to lose weight, and you cannot just lose weight, you want to lose fat and the only way to do that is to burn it.
That's controlled by hormones and not by how much you ate, your body is a brilliant biological system not a scale

"Health and life span are determined by the proportion of fat versus sugar people burn throughout their lifetime and so the more fat that one burns as fuel, the healthier a person will be, and the more likely he or she will live a long time" - Ron Rosedale

I must burn all fat, I am completely muscular, I could tone up a bit but pretty much muscular. If you look at the BangBros. pictures of me you will see me at 145, too thin, but all muscle. I think thing the change in my metabolism is to account for this. I noticed as I lost the weight my energy levels increased and I was much more active. As time progresses this becomes faster and faster and that is where I do not want to go. I would like to be 175, with minimal body fat. But, believe me, I understand what everyone is trying to get across to me, but you know I have never been conventional.

I think one thing that is very important to remember is that we´re all different. Ketosis can be amazing and it has helped many people. Some people will thrive on this style of eating. However most people wont. The success stories you hear are from those who thrive on it. Some people run very well on carbs. Some people really dont. There are studies that show ketosis is amazing for various reasons and there are also studies that show the complete opposite. Quite frankly there isnt much valid research either way so personal experience is what really matters. I´m not going to search for any studies to link to though.

We´re all different and there isnt one answer to what is healthy and not. I personally run very well on carbs.

I assume you fast a few times a week. But I'm saying don't do a fast like every other day because that really affects your health in your stomach to fluctuate acid. But doing it as you say you will be fine so don't worry. I encourage you to fast if this helps you.

People see fasting as unhealthy but in reality it's healthy. Hunger is actually a mental construct of addiction to food. You should see the different portion sizes in other countries compared to the US. You can see that different amount of eating really matters.

yup i started eating only once a day as well (i have lots of vitamins and supplements throughout the day though)... some people call it the warrior diet, it helps boost your natural testosterone and growth hormones. you still need to get protien and veggies though it doesnt mean just binge eat

humans are a survivor animal, you would be amazed what a human can "live" on. it doesn't necessarily mean it is optimal for gains.

There's a lot of confusion between the best diet and a better diet.

The standard diet ist just so unhealthy, it doesn't take much to improve it.

Again, you must ask the right question, and when you do, you come to pretty similar conclusions that I come too.

better diet in this case is key,But whod have the will time patience motivation to follow a healthy diet.Is a good thing to do,But that kind of stuff is boring.

Eating fruits, veggies, drinking enough water, exercising, etc can be a useful solution IMO....

I believe as long as you feel good about your health then you'll do fine

Hello,

I'm a newer member here, but have really gotten in depth with PE over the last several months. I have found something interesting to help avoid fluid retention, but first a little background.

Before starting PE I've made a lot of overall improvements to myself. The biggest one is losing 125 pounds. I lost the majority in 6-7 months by following a very strict ketogenic diet. Basically I eat high healthy fats, moderate protein and no carbs. One of the side effects of keto is that the body rids itself in excess water. When eating carbs the body stores glycogen to burn for energy. Each molecule of glycogen has four molecules of water attached to it. This causes visible water retention in the body, especially in the extremities. Now that I am happy with my weight I cycle on and off of ketosis to maintain, which lead to my discovery.

When following a ketogenic diet I get very little fluid retention in my body, including when doing PE. For those who have issues with fluid retention when pumping, clamping, using the phallosan, etc... And could stand to lose a few pounds, or just lead an overall healthy lifestyle I would highly recommend trying out a ketogenic diet. It takes a few days to shed the excess water, but I feel that my PE is much more productive, with pure expansion and very little fluid retention when I am in ketosis. For some of us our life pretty much revolves around the obsession of PE so I figured why not have a diet change as well.

If anyone else would like to try this out, even if for just a few weeks, and provide some feedback that would be awesome. Anywho, I thought I'd share this discovery with the brothers on here since this forum has shared so much with me.

PE is now a part of my life but I'm still struggling with my diet. Please come and tell me more about the diet.
